Are you Team XLR or Team USB as a content creator and what kind of creator are you (Podcaster, Streamer, etc.)?

just starting out with streaming. I'm using a USB mic as of now but i cant seem to get the audio level right for my PS5 going from the USB mic from the mixer. I'm probably going to go XLR instead of upgrading the USB mic.

@@zenbyo I'd really have to see how that was set up to be able to be of any help to you.. Just remember that an XLR mic will mean the need for an audio interface which can drive that price up a bit more.

Would a XLR Female to USB work with the hyperX Porcast?

It's not something I have explored. If you go onto my discord (link in description) we can talk through it.

I think it's a good condenser mic but that price isn't my favorite. In that range, the Rode NT-1 is still a choice worth considering first for the versatility it provides and I think a better sound to my ears. If this was closer to $150, I think it'd be a more compelling offering in the work of AT2020s, King Bee IIs, and even offerings from MXL as well
