Hypex NC502MP Class D amplifier from Buckeye Amps | Kit Assembly | Full video

This is the assembly of the Buckeye Amps NC502MP kit assembly. Sorry about the low volume when I tested the Klipsch RF 7 III for some reason my mic is able to pick up the sound correctly.

Did you push the RF-7 III's? Any issues driving them hard with this amp?

I cannot push it in the apartment but sounds very clear at loudest as I could without getting compain from the neighbor.

I feel really dumb asking, but I just got a Buckeye amp and trying to figure out how to connect it. It has 2 XLR channel inputs, but the preamp has 2 RCA outputs. Do i connect both to one channel or does each RCA cable connect to 1 channel via an XLR adapter?

You will need a preamp that also have xlr outputs. Xlr to rca cable maybe works but I have not tried it.

How is the sound quality of Hypex what amp were u using earlier Also how much does it heat up Does it go in standby when not playing music

@@anandshah71 hi , the hypex amps are very good and used in very high end systems. They are i think like 94% efficient and run cool when compared to tube or class ab or class a amplifiers. They are a great value. I have a set of active speakers with the older ucd amps from hypex built in and they are 12 years old and still play fantastic. I'm saving up for three new x models that will come out out maybe get the lanai diy model from hypex.

@@Phloored yes love the performance have 122mp and 250mp and the 502 but the 502 heats up a lot so I think one should use heatsinks than a thin enclosure as in the video Also even if I away and the amp is on but the music is not playing the 502 remains on doesn’t go in standby and remains hot

@@anandshah71 that's interesting. My ucds are built into the cabinets so i don't know if they are getting hot. I'm eager to try the new diy lanai kit that they will release this month. I hear it's remarkable.

You dont have to. This is normally sold as assembled but I asked the seller that I would like to assemble it myself.

Tibook siya ug tingog. Flat siya ug timgog ug depende nalang unsaon nimo pag setup imo room or mogamit ka equalizer ok ra pud. Di rako kabantay sa tingog kung ikompara sa class ab. Di ko kaborak diri kay naa ko sa apartment gapoyu. Taman rako sa volume 10 out of 80 sa akong dac. Murag mao pud ni gamit sa brand nga McIntosh sa uban nila nga mga model.
