Quick tip : If you want to do what this video shows,I recommend getting 42 lvls first and enchant then get another 42 lvls.This is because the lower the experience the faster you lvl up

The formula for the anvil level increasing cost is 2^n-1 n = the number of items combined with the item. An example would be 2^3-1 which would be 7 levels.

​@@ninos9900 take 2^3. The answer is 8. We get that from doing 2x2x2. Count the amount of 2s in that equation. There's 3 of them. By this logic, 2^4 = 16 = 2x2x2x2. The number after the ^ is how many of the number before the ^ there will be. So if the equation is x^y, there will be "x" in the equation "y" times. Hope this helped!

since the levels to combine enchants increases when they’re combined in an anvil, it is NOT recommended to craft the books from collections even though they’re one below their max level. if you do, then the cost will add up and be far greater as opposed to enchanting on books

So, how do you prevent knockback? Just not enchanting at the higher levels? Also getting books via collections is another way to save levels. And if anyone needs telekinesis books- I basically use them as toilette paper to wipe my butt with. They fill my inventory when I mine the particle blocks in the end caves and they just gum everything up...

Waw thanks, i made 10 telekinesis books for like 3-1 lvl each, and i sell 2 for 5k, like 5 for 4-3k and the other for 1-3k, i got 31k for 10x1-2 lvl and 10 books (and with a full lapis armor and a experience III pick you get 2 lvl by breaking a diamond ore from your minion)

Hey VERY important but I think you can also improve this method taking into account tiring/working stacks (the number of times you put an item into anvil). So, IMO wouldn't the best way to enchant be enchanting a 0 stack sword with a 0 stack book, then on the next enchantment, on your sword, you would combine the next 2 books with 0 stacks to make a 1 stack book to match, the now, one stack sword.
