Easy, back in the 90s computer graphics was going trough revolution and what we have today is just polished same thing just running on dx12 with 3d acceleration, still same basics with more clarity and detail but in reality SAME THING :D I believe computers was invented before our civilization, so very possible these visuals indeed.
