When I was 15 in 96 there was a cable access show called corruption and mayhem on Friday nights and they would play metal videos. I recorded many episodes and that's where I first saw this. Man it's still just as badass.

Hypocrisy's music did really appeal to me up to the "Final Chapter" album.Their songwriting was more consistent in the 90's.The groups would've been a huge charm if Peter had closed the project down

@darkshadowvamp Yeah the recording quality Is pretty bad, but we're talking about an old school Swedish death metal EP so it's to be expected. And yes, this writing, even with as many progressions as it has, is still quite simplistic. For the most part, the Stockholm Swedish DM style has always been more about the grind over technicality, so I don't mind it so much.

As for the music, well I've always found the writing of Hypocrisy (or Peter, whichever) to be a bit too simplistic. I wouldn't go as far as saying shallow, just rather dry and somewhat boring. I suppose mediocre would be a better term. So, you combine that with crappy recording quality.. tell me what you have. Garbage.
