Hypocrisy - Pleasure Of Molestation - Guitar Cover w/Solo (+Tabs)

Hello dudes, here is this week’s cover, a return to Hypocrisy’s roots.
I’ve been big Hypocrisy fan for a while, liking both their early and later work, and I felt the channel lacked some of that nice old school, raw sound from their early days
Besides the couple of slower bits in the song, it’s basically supposed to be played “as fast as possible” at a healthy top speed of 278 bpm! I think you’ll find it’s a good song to practice extended tremolo picking runs.

Glad to see you again bro! I just wanted to say, that as for me, I found it just wonderful, how much you can learn from the old-school stuff. This song for example doesn't look so "shreddy" and "flashy", but these tremolo parts are no shit. And Standart A on a 25,5 inch scale guitar? Bro you mad? ))))

Ahah actually the guitar is tuned to B, I am using a pitch shifter to drop it further to A. And I slapped on some big ol' strings to balance, but I need to tune it properly and do the intonation. I'll probably run through this in May and maybe post a video too!

Sounds great and brutal man. Which string gauge? How do you like the RG 550 especially for the low tunings? I want to buy one.

I use a set of 12-56, similar to what Bill Steer used in Carcass! I love this guitar for low tunings, feels like it was made for it. I just need to work on the intonation a bit but otherwise it's great!

heya man, i wanted to ask 2 things; 1. is there any chance your tabs are somewhere else on a different site player? with soundslice im struggling because it doesnt have autopage scroll down showing what tabs are coming up and for repeated sections it just goes through a blank bar, so i cant see what notes are currently being played again 2. is there any possibility that one day you'll do the title track for butchered at birth? most people seem to struggle with working it out but i think youd be able to figure it out since youre really good at this stuff, cheers

Hey man, I don't plan on uploading the tabs to another player for the time being. The only alternative would be Songsterr however you can't post one song more than once, and I wouldn't also get any credit for the tab work, so that's off the table. Could you tell me which tab you have an issue with specifically so I can have a look and see if I can do anything about it? As for Butchered at Birth, a lot of people have been requesting it recently, so I guess I might have to get working on it ahahah!

@@TbombGuitar Sorry for the late reply, Songsterr does have multiple versions tho, it's just that the most recent one is the one shown by default. If you go to a song tab, at the top it says revised on: [date] , when you click on the blue date text it comes up with a list of all previous versions, the date of them, and the name of who made the revision. If you click on the changes text of a revision and go back to the tab it will be changed to that revision. Also what about ultimate guitar? The main trouble I find with soundslice is that when it goes to repeat a previous bar it doesn't warn you at all on a tab, so it throws me off I find. If you can it would be amazing

I think this album is full A standard, but to be fair I haven't checked every song. I know abducted has both A and B standard. I love Grave and have been meaning to cover one of their songs for a while

Yes, 100% sure it's in A. But you are right, Penetralia was in B, and the rest of their material after osculum is also in B.
