Dear Dr, On Nov 23rd 2022, My mother aged 69yrs, suffered Hyponatremia, because of the medicine 'Chlortholidone'. We took her to hospital on a very critical condition her Sodium was 111, and the treating Dr immediately taken her to ICU to inject the sodium. Now Dr told., she has to take only 2 Ltrs of water/liquid by any form per day. This type of ailments seems to be new for us (relatives & friends), and an eye opener , how ' Sodium' plays an important role in our body.
