In this video we take a thorough look at the Godox SL-200W LED Continuous Light. The SL-200W is a brand new continuous light released by Godox in December 2015. Being one of the authorised resellers, we managed to get our hands on one of the first models available to public.
The Godox SL-200W is a high powered LED continuous light suitable for video production and photography. It's particularly popular for newborn/children/baby photography as a continuous light is subtle and not a harsh lighting source for children.
Continuous lighting is ideal as what you see is what you get (WYSIWYG) so you can frame and compose your shot and camera settings prior to taking it. It's perfect for green screening, portrait photography and a wide variety of different photo or video scenarios.
It features a Bowens S-mount which means it can mount a variety of different lighting modifiers including softboxes, octaboxes, stripoboxes, beauty dishes, snoots, softball diffusers, umbrellas and more. Consider the light as an additional lighting source, and since it is 5600k and a CRI 95+ rating, you can rest assured that you're receiving true white light and accurate colours in your shots. #godox #godoxsl200 #hypop
