Twesa James Peel off masks are usually more for the “hype” because they actually only remove the dirt and build up on the top layer of the skin (sebaceous filaments), but don’t get deep into the pores and push out the blackheads. Getting that stuff off the top layer isn’t a bad thing and appears brighter after removal, but some people question it being worth the irritation given that all the dirt and stuff just comes back onto your face at the end of the day or just the next day😅 They’re just not good to use frequently in my opinion I hope this helped!💛

Unasked for opinion: So I purchased that Astivita sunscreen he recommended a couple of videos back from Amazon AND ITS SO AMAZING. I am so picky about sunscreens and I’ve tried all the ones he’s recommended but with my sensitive and acne prone skin I was having a hard time with any of them. Best recommendation for me is that sunscreen!!! If you have **adult** acne prone skin, you guys need to give it a shot. It’s “face and body” but I only use it for my face.

It's all about wanting to look wealthy. In the olden times, peasants were tan from working out in the sun, so rich people wanted to look pale. Now, most people have indoor jobs, and only rich people can afford to lay out in the sun all day.

For me, it hides a lot of stuff that’s more visible when I’m super pale. Like cellulite, stretch marks, etc. I was never “addicted” to tanning but I do sometimes throw on a self tanner, especially for events or weddings.

As my mom used to say “tanned fat looks better than pale fat” (lol) I don’t tan or use self tanner though. If I am out in the sun I’ll tan if not idc. Sometimes we look SICK with no color though so some tan can help anemic gals like me look... alive?

yall hiram fans take his word like it’s the damn gospel. it’s not. hiram is solely providing you guys with his own personal OPINIONS. none of what he says is completely fact. last time I checked, he dosent even have some sort of phd or education in skincare? he’s not a dermatologist. everybody’s skin is different, so what works for you will not work for me. i use diy face scrubs, which hiram harshly opposes, yet they work perfectly for my face. my face is dry and tends to break out a lot, yet diy masks work wonders. does that mean i’m doing everything wrong because king hiram said so? no. some of their faces probably don’t break out because what they use works perfectly fine for them. you don’t take hirams word for everything.

Yes! For example coconut oil, I know people hate it and everyone says its really comedogenic but it was the first thing that actually cleared my skin from like highschool acne and Ive been using stuff for years and nothing worked until I tried coconut oil. It makes my skin soft and clear 🤩
