The way you use the combos and how you enjoy the game is so satisfying. I love how you leave the magic attack for the last hit, it just feels so right.

I think this is what keeps me coming back to this game. The combos in this are actually a lot of fun to pull off, and you really feel like you can adjust everything so well for different situations. You may only have 5 or 6 different combo attacks, but you use each one depending on your position or what enemy your attacking. The few annoyances aside, I kinda dig the way each character fights and like to see new ways to attack with them. The Sub Weapons/Items are horribly under-used in this game. They deal next to no damage, but they have uses like Bombs or Arrows for non-boss Weak Point Gauges, Boomerang for cutting grass and collecting pickups. The Hookshot is a bit useless since it forces you to use C2 automatically when you connect with an enemy, but it has its moments. Powered-up items are really good too, so much that I wish I could mix the potion to give you unlimited amounts of them. But alas, that didn't exist until later patches. It might be nice not having to worry about too much as opposed to v1.12, but we'll see.

Just to explain a bit, my AverMedia capture device was getting very old and started affecting my captured content with video stutter, constant and variable audio desync, dropped frames at random and other problems. I was getting quite sick of it, and so opted to get something much better. The only issue I'm having right now is that the colors on the new device seem to be off. You will see the difference in the second stage, which is a massive shift in visual quality. That was mostly the reason for the delay and thanks for your patience all.

First of all, OUCH holy crap my ears when you opened that Heart Container chest in Fi's stage. I was not prepared for that at all. That aside, I don't think I've managed to get the No Healing skill in my gameplay before, and if I have, it was on a character that didn't really need it. It looks incredibly useful for adventure mode, (like all 3000 KO skills I suppose) and you really got to show off what Fi can dish out under the right circumstances! Regarding Midna's map, this place wouldn't be to bad to return to in order to farm normal Lizalfos materials, since most maps seem to prefer using Dinolfos instead. The mission isn't to intensive, and the map forces you to travel all over and run into myriad other captains before you reach the end. Speaking of the end, though... How on earth did you take a material drop potion, KO Ganondorf with a high count focus spirit, and STILL not get his gold material? Not that you won't have plenty of chances for them anyway, but still!

I have to apologize about that sound clip. I thought I'd adjusted everything, but it looks like I missed a small hiccup here and there. I'll make sure that does NOT happen again. I use headphones myself, so things like that can be extremely annoying. So this is just me, but I think that Focus Spirit bonuses are only active when the "more x" messages are on screen (if the magic meter runs out or you activate FSS, they are immediately cancelled). Next, the chances of rare material drops seem to depend on the difficulty of stage you are playing. So if you were to play an easy stage with 2 Materials boosts, you still likely wouldn't get a Super-Rare (gold). The chances are better and stack, but aren't guaranteed. Special skills can be really nice, because they provide you with benefits that are actually really useful. It's just too bad they they couldn't be re-balanced and get people to use more than one or two of the skills. Not all of them have a negative drawbacks, just Regen, Sturdy Foot (both make you take Double damage), Defenseless (Blocking is ineffective, but not disabled) and No Healing (can only restore a quarter heart at a time ). One-Hit-Kill's activation rate sucks and would only be useful for weak characters or high-difficulty stages at best, and Adversity is equally bad since it only boosts your attack when you fall to 3 Hearts or less (critical health levels do not scale in this game, so when you have like 30 Hearts, it still doesn't activate unless you are at 3). I would actually use Sturdy Foot because even though Naryu's Badges help prevent flinching, this skills stops it entirely. Poes and Lizalfos can't knock you away, and at an early point in the game this is very nice.

Were it not for the existence of Manhandla I would actually be down to use Defenseless, but blocking really is the best tactic for fighting it sooooooo...

Technically, you could side-doge around the seed burst attack since invincibility frames will still cover you. The block button still works, but any attacks that hit while you block will do damage instead.

I'm still kickin'. I did start uploading stuff again a few months ago, but it looks like KZbin's new notification system won't notify your subscribers if you haven't watched their content for a long time. Sucks because I kinda went AWOL for like 2 years but whatever... I'll just start again slowly if I have to.
