Its not easy to play. People dont appreciate how difficult it is to play the bass of this song until they try it. 3 and a half minutes of keeping it up is bound to end up with some mistakes.

For all of you whiners complaining because she used a pick. Look up Carol Kaye. A studio bassist who rewrote most of the bass lines in the 60s through 80s and used a pick for all.

I loved the levels of the harmonies on the hook and I loved the clean/picked bass intro. Not how the original song goes, but covers that just emulate the original verbatim aren’t usually all that interesting. The bass at the beginning definitely grabbed my attention, and not just because the girl playing it is ridiculously cute...
