Lol, Totemic slam counting as playing a card seems like a major oversight that stems from them re-using code that was used for "Choose One" cards. Which means a Choose One card with 3 or 4 choices may hopefully become a thing at some point

I mean. The player base is the beta testers. The issue is it doesn't work out that great because it directly affects gameplay. The people at Mojang got it figured out long ago: give out snapshots to whoever gives a crap enough about Minecraft still (lots of people) so the crazy base can explore all the new features and find the bugs for them. Blizzard doesn't get the same luxury, because of the way Hearthstone is set up. It's really hard to test every single interaction with just a team of a dozen people or so for only a few months. We have millions of people, and months to find all of the bugs.

I agree that it is really hard to test all the interactions, especially if in theory every card could have a different interaction with every other card, which isn't even the case. But from a programmers perspective things like the combo effect from the buffed shaman hero power are just lazy. Instead of implementing the hero power properly they basically just give the player 4 cards to summon the specific totem, that don't take up space in your hand and never leave it after you've played one.

Firstly, when you hit the minion with blood to ichor/bane of doom it survives and then acidmaw kills it

I might have one for you if you haven't done it already. "Tracking triggers discard effects." I was playing a tavern brawl where I had a tiny knight of evil on the board and I tried to use tracking thinking it would discard two cards and buff the knight, but it didn't buff the minion. My guess is that it is because the two cards were discarded from my deck and not my hand.

The way things resolve in this game is just so confusing. Mirror entity copies minions after everything resolves, deathrattle occurs after a minion comes into play, now deathwing can discard itself.

Both on this video and the last one, the draw triggered when fatigue caused 18 damage. That seemed to be the important factor. They should set up a mill run and test to see if they can trigger a draw sooner.

IIRC, any class discover card, when played as a neutral hero (outside of Tavern Brawls, that's just Ragnaros) will discover cards from their class. It would be nice to test this more thoroughly, instead of piecemeal with one card at a time every so often. On a related note, for Mean Streets of Gadgetzan, what happens when you try to discover an Overload card with Finders Keepers when you're playing a different (non-neutral) class that doesn't have any Overload cards? I'd expect it to give you Shaman Overload cards, but who knows? Totemic Slam triggering Combo I'd heard about, but it's nice to see it confirmed. I'm curious, though, if the Druid Choose One cards count as one or two cards towards Edwin Van Cleef's Combo counter.

Got a strange one : if Darkspeaker tries to switch stats with a 1/1 minion summoned by Barnes that died when Darkspeaker is summoned, then Darkspeaker will gain this minions original stats and not the 1/1.

Ohh wow, you could get totemic slam with the dragon for mage that allows you to use your heropower more than once, and then add in the new priest legendary to make the biggest edwin ever without even playing a card (on the turn you play edwin at least)

It's gotta be a bug. Maybe it works like that because of the way that the Totems look while you're picking them, like cards. So the Hero Power adds them to your hand and automatically 'plays' them for you

hi HysteriA! A really cool effect happened to me in this weeks brawl, i dont know if it is possible to reproduce it. So: I played Disciple of Cthun and targeted an enemy minion but due to the brawls random spell effect that enemy minion got sapped before the battlecry effect. Than guess what, the projectile animation went a circle over the board and it hit the sapped card in the enemy's hand. It was awesome but i played on my phone and i couldnt record it. Can you set this up somehow? Keep up the good work :) m

It was 100 turns before, they confirmed it in an old video. But Blizzard changed it recently, so they tried it again and it's not 100 turns anymore, hence the "DENIED".

No, it certainly doesn't. Totemic slam reads 'Summon a totem of your choice'. Staghelm only works on effects with the 'Choose One' keyword. Also, it specifically states it only works on cards.

Based on that logic they haven't confirmed that Deathwing can discard himself either. It was only a sample size of one after all. When you're testing something as simple as this, one is all you need.

There's a difference between "can" and "always". For Deathwing discarding himself, they showed that it "can" happen. For ivory knight, they only showed that it "can" discover paladin spells, not that it "always" discovers Paladin spells. Think about dark peddler. Sometimes you discover class cards and sometimes you discover neutral cards. If I used it once and got 3 class cards in my discover, I would be wrong to assume that it's "always" going to give 3 class cards.

IncendiarN lol.. well, feel free to try it yourself. I can say with 99.9999999% certainty that it will do the same for all classes. I feel you're overthinking this, it's not complicated. Ivory knight is a paladin card, rag is none of the 9 classes and so it gave him paladin cards to choose from. It's a very simple mechanic. Not very well known, but very simple none the less. The reason dark peddler can give neutrals is because your discovering a 1 mana card and there are quite a few 1 mana neutral minions. Ivory knight only discovers spells and there are zero neutral spells, so no matter what class you're playing when you play it, its a 100% chance to be a class card.
