I think it’s a great step up from the Y60, but I believe they need to do it without the screen too. Not everyone wants it and it does add a good chunk to the price.

Honestly I love the Y60/70 design & my current case is the 011 Mini with the distro plate. The price is pretty high but it doesn't scare me off for what you get. However I've been wanting to get back to my ITX roots & I'm hoping Hyte is cooking up something new besides the Revolt!

Thinking this may be my next case - it just looks so good! The touchscreen is a bit overkill for me, as I don't think I'd really use the touch features on it, but at least it looks responsive.

That is a sick case! I almost bought a hyte y60 but went with phanteks nv7 as the y60 would starve my 4090 of air. Glad I did as the nv7 is a wonderful case with all the space I could ever need!

Currently have the Y60 with the LCD mod (which honestly is already expensive enough), and was considering upgrading to the Y70, but the price is VERY offputting... I mean I knew it was going to be expensive, but still... It's basically $450 over here in Norway after sales tax. (4990 NOK)

@@jamesharnish650Nope, $53 more than what a new Y60 + the LCD kit costs here. Also keep in mind the Y70 comes with 0 fans whereas the Y60 came with 3 if I remember correctly. Good fans arent cheap either, and the Y70 can fit a lot of them.

I literally just finished a new "after 5 years" Y60 Snow white build on 10-20-23. Saw the Y70 and smacked my forehead...🤦‍♂ SOOOOO!!! ugh, I just ordered the Y70 Snow white case. Won't be here till December so I can enjoy the Y60 for a couple of months till I rip all my items out and put them into the Y70. I ordered the Screen for the Y60 and never installed it "now going back to amazon". So like you said, I spent the 350$ on this case/screen so why not just get it in a all-in-one and have my 4080 Areo OC not almost touch the glass and get choked "the glass gets super hot after an hour of gameplay". I'll take all my old components from my old build and add them to the Y60 for the wife or just to have an extra build. All i wanted to do was buy a new Video card for my old case but it would not fit in it. That led to $3000 on a whole new build...🤦‍♂🤦‍♂... Can't take the money with me when I die so i might as well enjoy it now! 👍👍

It's a nice idea for a pc case in a while but IMO, only looks nice in reels/shorts where creators or influencers need to push consumerism. Most people who end up buying this case will probably play with the panel for a few days then barely even use it once the novelty wears off. Hope they make a baseline Y70 without the panel but with all the other improvements!

How do the EK Radiators fit? I know the Y60 is a bit.... Tight. an extra thick 480 EK radiator on the side is really hard to fit. The 360 rad from EK had positioning issues as well as the cut out doesn't quite align. I had to drill new holes into the rad holder in order to fit it correctly.

The ONE thing I am confused about with the Hyte Y70 is the GE FORCE. Some of the Computer reviewers say there is no more than 1-3 mm gap between the GPU and the glass case which cause air flow reduction, yet some videos like the one here and another seem to show that the GPU has more space. Can anyone elaborate on this.

The 4090 i had in here is one of the thickest GPU's on the market. Still plenty of space from the fans to the glass

What a loss. The Y70 is meant to handle 40x series cards better than the Y60. I upgraded to the Y70 because my 4080 was choking inside my Y60. Now, I get much better temps with my Y70. The GPU sits further away from the glass. The Y70 is bigger than the Y60. To my understanding, the Y60 came out a few months before the 40 series cards were even released, so they wouldn’t had known of this issue: Y70 fixes that problem.

You’re confusing the Y60 with Y70. The Y70 in this video is bigger than the Y60 and is able to handle 40x series cards much better. I upgraded to the Y70 from the Y60 and now my 4080 gets much better temps with it, and sits further away from the glass.
