Thank you so much man! I have searched whole KZbin to see how you remove the side panels in the trunk!

Hi, Christian. Good DIY content. One detail though installing the bumper: insert one indent of the bumper inside the shock dust cover. Doing so the shock piston would be completely covered without the dust cover falling down along the shock tube. The piston rod shoudn't be exposed. Also the bumper would better serve its purpose to buffer metal to metal contact of the shock tube seal and dust cover during maximum compression of the shocks.

You didn't need to remove everything, the little compartments on the sides have a little plastic part you pull out and gives access to the shocks.

Christian Navarro what is the benefit of this parts ??? Is it reduce damping and vibration????
@dAndrei2792 жыл бұрын
@@christiannavarro7795 you don't need special tools. A flat screw driver for removing the square cap, a 17mm wrench and something to hold the end of the shock absorber. Doing so the removal of the shock absorber is much faster.

@@RrRr-th1kf this part is used to protect the shock absorber from dust and mud

Ok, looks like very solid tutorial for DIY! I've started to replace shock absorbers + rubber with help of it, but... I was stopped by "other rubber". How do you detach those seals on side and back doors? (3:35 and 4:08) It is "pull me hard" technique?
@insu33 жыл бұрын
Ok, found it. It's "pull me gently, but firmly" technique. ;)
