I've been around loaders my entire life I've yet to ever see a fan in front of the cab like this guy says, there always at the rear.

That thing is a beast. If I was filthy rich, instead of spending million$ on a yacht and high-end cars, I would spend my money on large pieces of property and giant equipment like that to play with. lol.

I run a loader at a log yard and my shoulder gets messed up from turning the steering wheel all day I’ve thought to myself while running it would be sweet if it had a stick for steering

curious on that red Taylor loader wonder who's really building those for Taylor
@Jay_Force_One8 ай бұрын
They come standard with a Cummins X12, which is a 8.9 Liter I believe. Same model that a lot of over the road trucks have.

The rubber tire log loaders for in forest log loading can be ok in the sand forests or rocked landings/ in forest log yards. The rubber tire log loaders can make a muddy mess if the ground conditions are against them, I have seen them rim deep in mud. The flatter ground forests that were blown over by the wind in the mid-1970s, the rubber tire log loaders were driven into the broken tree tangle to hold the trees as the stump/ root ball was cut off; to reduce the chances of the chainsaw operator getting launched.

Did it feel awkward stick steering with that steering wheel right in front of you? When you took off I wanted to grab the wheel😂😂

That bucket is awful small for a machine that size, we run Cat (980H's, 980M's and a 972H & 972M) and Komatsu (WA430, 450-6, 470-8, 500-6) loaders at work through out our different quarry operations. They demoed a new Hyundai HL980A couple years back with a spade bucket. Had it for a couple day's, no one was impressed with it. It's hard to beat a Cat and Komatsu in that size class and up for durability and longevity. One of the 980M's has the aggregate package and an 8.2 yard bucket. The 972H is 6 yard and the 972M aggregate package is 7yd. Another thing, the twin stick setup for controlling your bucket and lift arms are a much better setup over the single stick. When it comes to joystick steering, I'd say Caterpillar has the best setup on that. Once you get use to it, you won't ever touch the steering wheel. Our Komatsu WA500-6 is set up like that Hyundai have a steering wheel and joystick steering, it's awkward setup. We have demoed other brands such as Deere, but continue to stick with Cat and Komatsu.

I’ve never seen a fan in the front of a loader. It’s always at the rear. Wouldn’t even make sense to put it at the front in any situation.

@@michaelmactavish4445 A Komatsu is a premium brand and therefore expensive. I can't imagine buying a unit in Florida and having it shipped to Canada would be economical viable but I'm sure you crunched those numbers to make it work.
