Wow, some machine, hope it doesn't take the tarmac as well 😁. I had a similar machine years ago but it had a "strimmer" head for heavy grass or big weeds, worked well but when it eventually broke no spares available anywhere that I could find. Take care 👋

I am a little concerned about the tarmac too Peter, we have some damage. There is so much moss that I decided to give it a try! Hope all is well with you, take care too bud! :-)

Hey Russell. Great unboxing and assembly video. Its great to have someone go through it first. I've been looking at one of these for a while and wondered how effective they were and also would they damage the surface. I have a large drive with mixed areas of reasonably good tarmac and much older asphalt. Have you tried it out yet?

Cheers Donal. I haven't tried it yet, but will be making a review video very soon, hopefully in the next couple of days. My drive is also a mixture of good and damaged tarmac so I too am interested in what it is like on these surfaces and how well it removes the moss and weeds. I will cover all of that on the video. :-)

I posted the review last night Donal. kzbin.info/www/bejne/opvKhZuJoJyNa5o It did a very good job of clearing my driveway and I am glad that I purchased it. I was very concerned when I first started using it as it did look aggressive, but it only removed the areas that were on the verge of lifting already. The more I used it, the more relaxed as was and I was very happy with the results. Not perfect, but a considerable improvement. Mrs P is very happy! :-)
