is not copying...you know what copying means? to make things the same as the other. If they get inspired by others, that's not bad, everyone does that. For example, the display-tablet-like from top of the dash...almost every car company use that, so you could say they copied that?! If you want a car that is completely different from other cars from other manufactures, then maybe you should buy a Ferrari.
@ranjansarma22674 жыл бұрын
Hyundai do not essentially copy. They adopts the aesthetics and design of european cars and they adopts reliability of japanese car engine/gearbox. Hyundai has their own innovations in automobile industry. They makes good cars for mass.

One thing I like about Hyundai is that they keep some physichal buttons for the functions you use all the time, like the climate control. I don't understand why every car manufacturer keep adding all the functions to touch screens, where you have to go through menues to find what you're looking for. And don't get me started on those sliding touch-volume controls in new Hondas and Toyotas, must be a pain to use compared to a normal volume switch!

while Japan try so hard to make their car looks as 'bold' as they can (like Toyota CHR, Honda Civic Type R, Nissan Maxima, the new 'sporty' Toyota Camry, and of course every Lexus), it's nice to see South Korea do their best to design their car as minimalist as they can, except for Hyundai Kona. After all the comments about not being as good as a Golf, keep this in mind. A comparable Golf to this Premium version, with adaptive cruise, active lane assist and full autonomous emergency braking, smart phone mirroring, etc, would be thousands more. You're also left without warranty after 3 years with any of its European competitors. Hyundai gives a rats about how you think it compares to a Golf. Their eyes are on the Japanese brands, a would not even consider a Coralla, Lancer or Civic over this. That's why Hyundai are quickly heading towards being the world's largest manufacturer. Before you say I'm a Hyundai troll, I actually drive a 2011 Golf 118tsi Highline and I preferred it after test driving an SR Premium i30. However my rental a few days after was a Mitsubishi ASX topspec, which was nowhere near the i30.

They got 3 of them sitting at the lot and they been sitting there for 2 months. Currently has 3 kinds...super cheap, semi loaded, and fully loaded (tech pkg) with 3 different transmissions (regular auto, dual clutch, and manual), and 2 engine options (turbo and non turbo). Very nice cars. My fav of course is the fully loaded Dark Grey/Black interior - tech package/turbo and dual clutch, pano roof, cooled seats, bigger screen.

Hyundai all the way! After Renaults,Citroens,Alfa Romeos,bmws and Mercedes I found out bottom to top,left to right, Hyundais are the best if clever and quality is how you think. I own two right now. After all the car experience I gained so far if i had to spend some 100000 euros I’d go for a used Porsche/Ferrari which is way better than a new M4, a used rolls Royce is far better than a new S class fully loaded and so on.. For everything else,there’s Hyundai!

This is true as the i30 gets a panoramic sunroof heated and cooled seats. Prepubescent and disrespectful are the words you looking for my friend, I can understand that one doesn't like a certain car; it doesn't mean that you have to splash water over the interior or mess things about. I don't think Matt wouldn't like it when he would be a car dealer and people doing a test drive; suddenly starting to abuse the car in a similar way because they don't like it. Also, I hope that kids don't watch some of his reviews because they might feel that this kind of behaviour is acceptable. One has to work hard to be able to afford a new car whatever make, show some respect please Matt.
@Zerofightervi7 жыл бұрын
sic22l Every car should last 4 to 5 years without any issues but it's amazing how many still don't. Personally I'd rather have a fairly simple car, too many manufacturers offer completely needless technology in a bid to wow potential customers but all this does is add complexity & weight. Interesting to see the sales figures though, the Korean brands aren't quite the value option they once were.
@felixtang90227 жыл бұрын
Drove this in France this year. Frankly I have driven worse cars but this car is pretty much down there. The car may be quiet but the 1.6L diesel engine's power delivery is any but punchy. You have no idea you're revving the car unless you look at the rev counter. I managed 43mpg where most of my driving was on the highway. The car handle corners well and grips like you're on rails but the steering felt heavy and disconnected as if I was driving by wire. Ergonomics are superb. Perfect for people who has no interest in cars.

Why get this when you can get the i30N for just over 1000 EUR more than a full option 1.4 T-Gdi - 140hp? The N is miles ahead of the normal versions when it comes to driving, you get 110 hp extra, adaptive damping and it is just as practical and has all the options of that 1.4 fitted as standard (except a sun roof). For 5000 EUR more than the 1.4 you can get the performance version and drive around in a propper hot hatch with 275 hp, e-dif, alcantara seats, etc.
