I imagine the door opening feature might be a safety feature much like how some key fobs to unlock all doors you need to press it twice, to unlock the drivers side only you just press it once (this feature is found in newer cars that don't have the keyless entry) often to prevent someone from jumping in your car as you're getting in (this does actually happen)

11:00 minutes in i loved the way you explained the steering its exactly how i felt test driving it yesterday i couldnt explain the way it felt compared to my car the steering just felt so tight i tried to say haha but the way you explained it as if you feel connected to the car with its weighted steering is on point mate. I really like the N line but my wife likes the N model for power. We are going to try it again next weekend so we can have a definite idea. I should have tried to focus more on the Nlines power but i was more fascinated with the interior haha the interior in the N model was horrible in my opinion
@WebbyOnCars2 жыл бұрын
@Xexen BrightBlade Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I think the N-Line Premium is a fantastic car. The interior is much nicer than the 'N' with things like the red seat belts and air vent surrounds. It also gets adaptive cruise control and ventilated seats which you don't get on the N. It's a tough choice as they're both good cars!
@Xexen72 жыл бұрын
@@WebbyOnCars I just didn't give sport mode a good enough test drive my wife wants the n for power but I'm going to test drive the nline once more next weekend I'm hoping it has the grunt we need to agree on getting the nline. Got the fluid metal hatch a few weeks ago and loving it! The N is very nice but I drive to work 1hr each way so the N line is more realistic for me. Got more than enough power from normal to sports mode. The exterior and interior overall doesn't feel cheap at all, nope! I've talked to the most straight forward dealer from Hyundai Liverpool and almost doubled the value of the trade in. So goodbye Ford!

My intention was buying a demo to save cash. I turned a few offers from hyundai dealerships before until I spoke to a guy from Liverpool which is almost 2hr drive from where I live but it was worth it. He gave me the best price over the phone also the trade in. On my way to pick the car up I even got him to throw in the mats plus he gave me a 10yr nrma road side assistance. @Spudfreak InOz I haven’t driven the Kia yet, but I imagine they’d be fairly similar, meaning it would come down to styling or cost. I prefer the look of the i30, and I think I’m right in saying the Kia doesn’t get air conditioned front seats which would be another reason to get the Hyundai.

@@WebbyOnCars he agreed that it looks good. We are going to a dealership soon to look and buy and hopefully test drive. Yeah blind spot is nice but never had it so won't miss it. Also its kinda annoying when your in traffic (I know there is a car there. There's bloody cars everywhere). Also the ability to take the cup holder divider out or adjust the size is nice. Where the manual handbrake was is now a nice slim holder for a wallet or phone if you don't want it charging. Also was told that unlike the Mazda 3 I was looking at it has unlimited maps updating. I bought one of these in January to replace my 3 year old i30 SR Premium. Apart from slightly different exterior styling, a bigger infotainment screen, a different steering wheel and gear lever, so far as I can see it is the same as the SR Premium. Except the SR Premium has blind spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alert which, for some reason, the N-Line Premium does not have - why not - they are excellent safety features. Instead the N-Line Premium has a very annoying lane keeping assist which can be turned off (by going through about 3 or 4 menu items) but has to be turned off every time you start the car. Annoying. Frankly I think that the N-Line Premium is a step backwards when compared to the SR Premium.
@WebbyOnCars3 жыл бұрын
@Justin Adam. It's so disappointing when they remove features on a new model! I agree with you about the lane keeping aid, I turned it off every time I got in the car, and had the same problem going through the menus. It would be so much easier if there was just a button on the dash somewhere. I wonder if they'll bring some features back for the updated model which is just starting to arrive.
