Clearly an experienced mechanic used to working on cars: making sure there are no oil drips :) Very clear video! Really only one minor niggle: you can't actually see the oil plug due to it being in the dark, but it is clear enough where it is anyway. Also thank you for showing basically -everything-, such as how to remove the engine cover, how to clean the oil filter cup, etc. Thank you!

Excellent video, as an Engineer I could only find maybe 1 thing I would have done differently, When starting up the Engine "Do Not Rev" let it idle and when the oil light is OFF, then if you must, then rev up the engine, but reving up an engine does not help accept to wear it out. For those out there not doing a paper oil filter but changing a Cartridge Filter, where possible add some fresh oil inside the Cartridge. Great Job Mr Spence Eng

3:25 can you tell me what the connector is for? the one right above filter cap? the mech that changed my filter and oil forgot to put that back, then i had loud chain noises and when i put it back it was fine. i just need to know so i can slap his face with info. My guess is its connected to the vacc and crankshaft position sensor. but idk..

Just wonder how many years will take for people changing oil in they cars to realise that if you take an empty 1.5 litres water bottle, cut the bottom with a knive, clean the remainings of water inside, and voilà, a PERFECT funnel 😊😊

Hi , hard to say why you have different oil capacity, maybe different engin oil sump coz automatic/manual gearbox??? ...automatic gearbox engine is 1.8 not 1.7

What can I do? in the manual it says C2 or C3, but C2 is low HTHS and C3 has higher HTHS, I was thinking of putting a C4, but I don't know if it's bad for the engine. thanks.

Witam, dziękuję za fajny film. Mam pytanie, wczoraj wymienialem według Twoich wskazówek olej i przy odkręcaniu śruby, śruba spustowa od miski olejowej spadła mi na ziemię i nie byłem pewien czy stosuje się przy niej podkładkę. W zestawie z filtrem oleju były uszczelki i aluminiowa podkladka którą założyłem na śrubę. Po 24h zauważyłem małą plamę pod osłoną tej śruby. Dodam że przy wymianie olej poleciał mi trochę na osłonę silnika czy to może być ten stary olej? Pozdrawiam

Witam , radze sprawdzic czy korek miski olejowej jest dokrecony i czy nie ma dwóch podkładek ,stara mogła się przykleić do miski, również może to być olej z osłony jeśli go nie wytarłeś Pozdrawiam. :)

Hi, it is not simple, this error may be caused ,bad fuel, blocked fuel filter, bad injectors ,internal fuel pump leak. Fuel pressure sensor fault. So good diagnostics should show where is the problem.

Hi, 5W30 low ash , I don't remember how many liters, you can check on Google or Ad 5L and after start check oil dipstick level, ad more if nessery.

Hi, it is normal situations if the diesel engine oil replace, because engine inside is not to clean . Especially when service intervals is longer like 6kkm .

Witam, nie ma paniki jeśli masz ponad maximum kilka milimetrów, jednak ja bym to wybrał do 2mm przed maximum. Zaobserwuj czy czasem nie wzrasta bo jeśli tak, to trzeba sprawdzić dlaczego.
