Get a tripod & put your phone on it. They are $15 on Amazon. I couldn’t see most of what you did. I was a mechanic for 30 years & i enjoy watching people fix vehicles. I rarely comment but i felt i needed to because most people who are poor need this kind of content.

Do you know if you can get those individual contacts that pop out as i bent one when i was trying to get it in place and now its not working properly

I don’t believe you can unfortunately, your best bet is to try bending it back to where you need it.. absolute worse case swap it with one from a window you use least/ whether that be from the master window switch or from a switch on a different door.

Did you have to remove the whole door panel

Yes I did, and depending on your vehicle it’s either 10mm and Phillips or just all Phillips
