Thanks for the great video. It reminds me how much I miss living in rural Germany. Clean, well-marked, and well-maintained roads, and zero trash at the roadside. I hope in ten months l you will get to test drive the new VW ID and make videos.

I have been a Tesla Model 3 man through and through. But your videos are convincing me that I want a Kona! Can't wait to test drive one when the come to Australia.

Jason Pleaner Droving wise the Model 3 Dual Motor is way better. Charging and Infrastructure too. But expensive and I am not a fan of the only Tablet Control in the car. I love the Instrument cluster of the Kona.

Sat in one yesterday. If you are 6 feet tall or more, you wont fit Frodo in the back seat behind you. too small, otherwise it's nice.
@FutureSystem7385 жыл бұрын
Jason. Australia doesn’t get lane follow assist, (so no “poor man’s autopilot”) just the totally useless lane keep assist. The rear seat is also useless unless you have short people in the front. Finally, the car really struggles to get the power on the ground, and torque steer is horrible on any kind of uneven surface. Then of course there is charging network, and speed. The Model 3 is just streets ahead in so many ways.

Great video, in fact, another great video and thank you. I am interested in your observation that the car has winter tires on it. Where I live in Vancouver, Canada most cars coming new from a dealer are equipped with “All Season Tires” and many of these are also made for use on snow. Are the tires for the Kona summer and winter only. Thank you. Gene
@BatteryLife5 жыл бұрын
Eugene Durnin Thank you. The Kona comes with only Summer tires. Winter tires are up to you. No M+S tires.

Kann es sein dass die Leistung auf 130kW reduziert wird wenn der Akku nicht ganz voll ist ??
@paulaxford67545 жыл бұрын
Is regen kW indicated anywhere on the dash other than the bars indicator at the left of the speedo? How did you obtain the readout at the left?
@BatteryLife5 жыл бұрын
Paul Axford In the instrument cluster there is only the Power/charge segment display. But in your middle screen (AVN) under EV, you can have a readout how much power everything in the car needs. Here in this video you can see it on the right indicated with a Minus.
@paulaxford67545 жыл бұрын
Battery Life thanks, see that screen. It seems to have quite a delay compared to the bar graph but at least gives a more precise idea of the regen of brake pedal vs fixed levels.
