I had a test drive of Hyndai nios amt and I likes it very much.There is no lag while shifting gear automatically.The build quality is much better than celerio and the steering is very smooth.I would like to test drive TATA Tiago amt and take a decision.

Using my Celerio zxi optional since 4 yrs. It's really a fun to drive car with good space and reliability, fully loaded with tilt steering, rear defogger + wiper, driver seat height adjustment, steering controls with blue tooth, alloy wheels , ABS+ dual air bags all these under 6 lakhs.

I purchased my celerio AMT with lots of expectations in 2016 and I and my wife were pleased with the ease of driving.But it was short lived as the amt unit had to be changed just after 4 years although we had driven only for 17000 km.I must say that maruthi has not been maintaining the quality of its cars.This cannot be dismissed as a rare occurence.I am sure there are many such instances .Recently I had to replace the clutch too as it started slipping and driving was not smooth.

I have driven both for more than 1000 KMS In city and on highways , I'm city traffic both are similar but on highways celerio is a winner, shifts are smooth and seamless while santro has trouble with downshifts.. Suzuki is still king of AMTs..

Hi, you can watch the full video to know whether the Santro AMT or the Celerio AMT will suit you best. In case you want a more affordable AMT, you can go for the Alto K10 AMT. Its just as good as the Celerio.

Hi Mr. Rao, unfortunately, Tata Motors did not have a test unit of the Tiago AMT. That said, both Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai's AMT systems are smoother than the unit in the Tiago.

@@AbhishekChaliha Celerio and Tiago use AMT from same supplier the difference if there is can't be huge. But until you test the Tiago alongside how can you come to such a conclusion?

@@AbhishekChaliha No doubt about your professional integrity, in fact I do like watching your reviews. As you know product improvement is a continuous process and I was one of the unfortunate first customer of Celerio in September 2014. Had a bad experience with horrible low speed jerking and confused transmission. You must be aware of how the first lot of Celerio was notorious for clutch wear. Most initial owners got them replaced within 20000km. Like wise Tiago whose software has been changed over time and do drive the 2018 model and give your views on it's AMT performance. Will be waiting for that!
