Hi I need to replace the ECU from a 2006 Hyundai Sante Fe 2.7L. If I am replacing the ECU located inside the car in front of the middle console. Can I replace my current ECU with any junkyard ECU that matches the engine from any 2001-2006 ECU?

You are wasting your time if you think you're going to get a solid answer for that question. It is a GOOD question. There is a lot of potential for various things to go wrong as they control every electrical function of the engine and sometimes transmission all at once. But to answer your question from my experience, when PCM's fail. It is usually the result of water intrusion, a bad driver or software error.

if its a new pcm with the vin already entered it should be plug and play , maybe one or two calibrations. if its a used pcm you will need the vin number to be erased and correctly entered

You can Google that... Google is free. Type in the year, make, model, and ENGINE size + the part you're looking for. Don't go with the cheapest one that comes up... You get what you pay for. Fortunately for you, the technology you're paying for can pay you back by helping you find the answers instead of wasting the creators time...

Is there anyone can help me? I'm in Africa and it's difficult to find good mechanic. My 2011 Sonata is recently started shaking between 2000-2500rpm. If i keep pushing throttle after 10-15 shakes car releases and backs to normal. But this time ac stops working, speed and rpm indicators shuts down also ECO fuel consumption screen shuts down. Also when i stop moving car shakes little on iddle throttle but fine while driving. I've repleced sparks, checked throttle setup, air filter is also new.
