Hey marking a line on the bulb socket and the housing is a very good idea. Should have been doing that on all my vehicles as it only takes a few seconds but saves a lot of frustration lining things back up, thanks!

Use 1157 instead of 2357, they burn 30% cooler so you dont burn thru bulbs all the time

I took mine to a place to have them done and it lights up when I brake but once I release the tail light does not stay on...did they use the wrong bulb?

The housing melted. You need to trim it with a utility knife or sand it down to level it.

There’s only one Taillight/Brake Light bulb. Then you have a turn signal bulb, back up bulb and Marker bulbs. They all get replaced the same way.
