I found the fuse remover! I have a 2022 Kona SEL. The fuse remover is inside the engine fuse box. Push the clips on both side to remove the fuse cover. Thw fuse remover is a white plastic clip with tongs. It's clicked in so you'll have to pull it out of the holder. Thank you so much for posting this video. The instructions were really easy to follow! ❤

YES! This is the winner! I have a 2022 Kona EV that had the same issue with the wireless charging pad. I figured I'd give this a try. I pulled #5, waited, popped it in. No luck. I then pulled #2, waited, popped it back in and, same result, nothing. Then the 10A (15A in my car) and it worked like a champ! Started the car, popped in my phone and before the orange light even showed up the phone was charging. And more importantly. . . This procedure allowed me to get my digital key setup and working. THANK YOU!

So, the charge pad reactivated and worked for a few seconds. Did you try again? This process apparently reflashes something, but if your pad quits again, maybe a loose wire, or defect? I watched and searched Forums for three months before I found this solution, so maybe keep checking around ?

Didn't work for my car. A little while ago I had my Kona (same as this guy's car) which caused my pad to stop. I did remove the fuses and put them back in order and double checked the fuse ratings. Still not working. Took my car in today and now many months later, the dealership is blaming the company who installed my dashcam, saying that its now drawing too much power which prevents the pad from working. While my car was in service, they updated my software which that option on the info screen, is no longer there. I plan to contact the dashcam installer, and have them check their work. Maybe the dealership created the issue due to them having problems updating my software.
@ya472 Жыл бұрын
Ok, now that they updated the software, and the option is not there, it is a good time to retry the fuse thing. Stupid mechanics, blaming the dashcam - for pulling too much power. Stupidest comment I have ever heard. If that was true, then the fuse would blow, and the simple solution is to install the dashcam on another circuit. Dashcams take almost no power, so the Mechanic is double stupid. lol. Thanks for the comment, hope you find the issue.

You are the first person to mention having to do this twice. Was your battery disconnected or replaced or jump started?
