Plot: Doo Shik (Jo Jung Suk) is a swindler who receives a parole sentence after spending some time in jail. He has been away from home for 15 years. His younger brother, Du Yeong, (Do Kyung Soo) is a skilled Judo athlete who suffers an accident while participating in a national contest.

ik probably no one cares, but I HAD to share this. so I was listening to this one song by a band called Hindia, and it's titled "secukupnya" (as necessary) it's an Indonesian song and I'm not sure if there's any eng trans out there, but the lyrics really reminded me of this movie basically the song is from a first person's point of view. and the lyrics were about someone that ask another person "when was the last time you could sleep peacefully? no need to think about what will happen tomorrow. a heartbroken body, hanging on the paycheck, racing to peacefulness, scraping for validation" (when d.o was desperate after losing his eyesight and doesn't know what to do with his job as an athlete) "and I'm never there, like I'm the most capable of reassuring you, when you felt discarded from the world, never there, we all are failures. toast your drink, let us feel sad together" (basically I feel like this is literally the brother's p.o.v like... he's never there for d.o, and he himself feel pathetic of himself) "useless {at the end} losing hope {wounded, hurts all over} the problem {is more than what is} necessary" (this part of the song is also self explanatory. I'm reminded of when d.o felt hopeless about himself, and his problem is so big, too big for him to handle) "record the picture from years ago, children are heartbroken, parents are alone, old commitment died, the lonely relations. past recreation, you're just missing it. finding ways to run from servitude [idk the english of this word but basically the "servitude" I meant was when you like care for someone and devotes yourself to them willingly and wholeheartedly], that's already burned down. coarse and dusted, we all are failures. take a little bit of tissue, and be sad as necessary" (this part of the song is what really gets me to tie this song to the movie. like, the bro that ran away, and he got paroled because he wanted to "take care" of his blind lil bro, and we all can see how bad he did it at first. also that last sentence is so powerful. the message is like "we're allowed to grieve, but don't drown in it. do it as necessary, and we should go back on our feet once again" it's so beautiful 😢) "as necessary {alas, there are still} replacements {it's not the time you could} answer it. all that are lost, will be back" (this part reminds me of when d.o can 'switch' [replace] the category, and he's still in his favorite career path, an athlete, and all is not lost. he just wasn't ready to follow the answer [being a crippled athlete] at first) so yeah, this song is so fitting to this movie @people that knows this song and able to make edits, please make an edit of this movie from this song. like... it's meant to happen! sadly I can't make it happen with my own hands lolol
