There is no indication of how the piezo pickup is fitted?
@NES0883 жыл бұрын
Like any other, drill a hole in the corner under the saddle and feed the wire through, lay the saddle on top of the pick up, the instructions mention it

@@NES088 The piezo is not like any other! They are normally rigid with a defined right angle cable take off. Tghis is a 3mm diameterflexible braided piezo sensor and it is physically impossible to make an abrupt 90 degree bend. The instruction manual does not show how to do it!

@@WoodomainJeremyBroun you are correct, but it is installed like any other, I don't remember struggling trying to bend it in place

Hi! I am also thinking about getting a HyVibe. How far does it affect the raw tone? Since you put the actuators on the vibrating top, you add weight. Is there a noticable difference, what do you think?

Sorry man I didn't see this comment, I have not noticed any change in the raw acoustic sound of the guitar.

You dont show how the pre-amp controller unit is installed. It wont fit with the wires attached and the wires need attaching before the unit is inserted as they are very tiny and location without seeing what you are doing will be impossible!!!

Correct, it won't fit with the wires plugged in, you have to plug it in blindly, the instructions says to practice it outside the body first as it is difficult I would say it was the most difficult part of the whole process for me.
