I'm a huge fan of the original Heart Mirror. The Pro wasn't popular because it not only cost more, but they also completely changed the tuning to match the "meta" tuning of the time, which removed all of its unique appeal. They've since returned to form with the Heart Mirror Zero, which brought back the unique flavor and tuning of the OG, at an even lower price point of $35. If you missed the old Heart Mirror, I recommend giving the Zero a try!

I ordered this blind and looking at graphs, I was worried I wouldn’t like it because it looked similar to the Dudu. But you nailed it with this review. This is like a more refined Dudu. I don’t dislike it as much as the Dudu. Great review as always! Is the S12 2024 your favorite planar? I just got the Timeless AE in and even though I would say it’s a horrible value for money, I would also say it’s my favorite planar.

Yes, S12 2024 is a great planar, but the price is up there in Timeless territory. Letshuoer is not always perfect, but when they get their tuning right, they are hard to beat.

Are you sure it's not the same driver as the kz PR series? Those are good drivers.. Would be nice if someone did something real good with them..

Why are 14mm drivers more technically proficient? Is it a manufacturing process difference or does an extra millimeter in size affect driver properties that much?

I think it is a bit of both but there isn't really another driver 14mm or 13mm that beats the S12 driver. The 13mm sets so far haven't done well so far, I think someone needs to get the tuning right. They have been underwhelming so far.

In terms of technicalities and soundstage, is it far off compared to the MP145?

Not far, but there is a gap between nearly all planars and S12/MP145. That is just the best driver. If you want to save some money and not deal with the fit of MP145, Luna is ok. Tuning is still better on MP145 too.

Don't have it and not sure I will get it. I see it is finally arriving to people who bought it. I don't see a graph yet, but I'd bet it looks like another set.
