I too face the similar issue, so I read stotras and chant the name of the God. If I want to participate in any vrath, I participate in Sathyanarayan swamy vratham usually done on every POURNAMI in some temples nearby my hostel. Chanting gods name is as powerful as performing vrathas and homas if we can do it with full faith and devotion. Hope this helps you 🙏
