I-55 bridge closure leaves commuters worried

The I-55 bridge is closed for some major repairs and will be closed until later this month. Drivers are concerned because the closure will impact their lives and commutes.

We just want our fellow drivers to drive better in the traffic, but even that might be asking for too much. But seriously, it's a very old bridge badly in need of repairs & upgrades. 2 weeks or longer, possible weather delays permitting, isn't that bad. I think the I-10 bridge in lake charles, la might be one of the next major bridges to close down for repair work in the future.
