Love the 45/69/288 merging at the center of Houston then splits off again... except for 288.

This is a very cool highway. TxDOT never fails to make cool highways in my opinion.

Houston's TXDOT still has much work to do on their signage, both on the overhead signs as well as the ground-level assurance markers. They've made progress, but they've still got a long ways to go. So many signs still to be put up, and that's a big-ass area.

At the SH 99 interchange at the end, they should build flyover ramps, so drivers are not forced to go through stoplights. This will be impressive when I-69 reaches Indiana where you can drive from Indianapolis to Houston.

I think they opened a new bridge on I-610 near I-69 / US 59 SW of Houston.

I would designate US 59 as an extension of I-57, and have it follow I-30 I-40 & I-55 in Arkansas.

Looking back at this freeway, things have HUGELY changed ever since the 1970s/80s, if you did your research about its history.... Jesus.
