I-70 Rocky Mountains & Eisenhower Tunnel

This video begins along I-70 in the western Denver, CO metro area at exit 260 and proceeds up the Dakota Hogback into the magnificent Rocky Mountains. At exit 218, we begin the journey through Loveland Pass and through the famous Eisenhower Tunnel, the highest vehicular tunnel in the United States. We conclude shortly after exit 205 near the Town of Silverthorne and Dillon Reservoir.

Nice... nice. I have ALWAYS wanted to see and ride on the continental divide and see the Eisenhower Tunnel! Been a dream ever since I first saw pics of it as a child. I never get tired of seeing the Colorado mountain highways! I always did like mountain highways as I have said before on other videos. Wow. Also- great tune to accompany the ride!

Sown is what's responsible for most rivers... plus the streams too, but especially that area, snow is what fuels those rivers. it's is amazingly beautiful! I really want to move out there to Colorado.

Wow, so we both decided to release freeway videos on the same day. Can't go wrong with that! Especially since you featured perhaps the most epic long-distance freeway in the US...making me miss I-70 over the Rockies. You are so lucky; no weather elements to deal with in this. Truth be told, this stretches of I-70 featured in this got a good snowstorm, just a week after you drove through here. Well, thanks for the upload; awesome work!

Amazing capture of the Rocky Mountains. Stunning ride. However I must say driving through the Canadian section of the Rockies is much more impressive than along I-70.

I love the scenery in this one. I drive to the Canadian Rockies pretty often but haven't been through them down in Colorado.
