The player-pool on that server is likely a lot smaller, most of the people at your level are likely 3-stacks; so you're mostly gonna get lower skill players as team mates vs 3-stacks

As an Australian who plays on Sydney 1 I will say that alot of us play of US servers for easier lobbies... There's more players and you guys are not nearly as aggressive. US alot of Zone play style and they play for placement in Oz it's like a COD tdm match

Living in Australia and still playing apex on console unfortunately! Our community is way smaller it’s a 3 stack haven in our pubs unless your running a no fill duo it’s hard to have any fun. Matching is cranked up a bit but understandable, new players wouldn’t have a chance to enjoy the game coming up against preds . Good luck in AGLS!!

I live in Australia and I can confirm that I do in fact frequently get wrecked 100 times for a once in a blue moon 7 kill game where as Tokyo lobbies are easy 5 kill every game ones smh

The problem with Sydney pub lobbies is nobody plays ranked. I can queue for 20mins at any time of day and not get a ranked match. Get a pub match in about 1min or less though, and it’s 3 stack preds winning 80% of the games…

sydney definitely has some bot lobbys in it but it does have alot more pred 3 stacks in pubs I feel like especially during times when everyone is off work and school, it also depends on the NA server you play will have more difficult opponents, for example Oregon usually is pretty easy compared to Dallas where i see a lot more well known players and 3 stacks playing on that. i guess all the gamers moved to texas for low ping and taxes

having moved around a lot the common rule is the average player base (like gold and plat) is better Asian servers but the higher tiers are better in EU and North America. The only tier I would say is the same in both is Diamond. I'm not sure if its a cultural thing but for most FPS games the western regions are better at the top.
