Not sure how this wound up in my recommended either, but to clear up a couple things (disclaimer, I'm not an expert): 1: He is playing on a Minecraft Server that is designed around a "Factions" game mode, a very popular game mode about creating a faction and building up a base. 2: The "$7,000,000" is as real as Monopoly Money (minus maybe some of the "spawners" (the back cage blocks) which are likely to be paid for. Those generally would cost $3-$100, as an estimate. 3: In this game mode, players can "raid" other bases, so stealing items is commonplace and expected. Players build up walls to try and protect their wealth, but the premise of this video is that this base was not very well protected. As a player, he was excited, because it was an easy win. Compare this to a criminal trying to rob a bank, and he walks in to find the doors wide open, the employees knocked out on the floor and the money just lying everywhere, ripe for the picking. Of course Minecraft is just a game, but it's a similar feeling, as people do put a lot of work and effort into protecting their faction and finding such cases is uncommon. 4: Yes, I know its "just Minecraft". But realize, its 2019, the age of digital culture, and people get enjoyment out of this - why rob them of that? Thats all from me, and I hope some of you are less confused now. As for why it's in your recommended, your guess is as good as mine. Seems KZbin is dropping the ball on what appeals to people specifically, so feel free to go about your day now. Happy New Year!

A lot of servers have a server wide currency, this currency can be used to get better gear or more land for your "faction" so by stealing other players stuff you can sell it and make more money for yourself to expand and fortify your base.
