I Accidentally Played Caldera... and had Fun
As someone who primarily plays Rebirth Island, I accidentally played a game of Caldera Solos in Call of Duty Warzone Pacific, and ended up having quite a lot of fun with a roller coaster of emotions.

i enjoy Caldera, but yes solos can be very slow and ratty. if you are playing even duos it seems much easier to find people. in solos people are scared to move out of cover because everyone is worried there's a camper around every corner. with squads people have more confidence to move around. also it just really helps to chain bounties and UAVs to keep the action up. if you are ever wondering "where to go" just find the nearest bounty or the nearest redeploy balloon to the nearest bounty. at least in solos. you can also try to perpetually be just near the edge of zone. you get a lot of confrontations that way since there will be people around you trying to rotate into zone. you also run the risk of getting held, but its a way to guarantee more action than aimlessly wandering around

@Cole Kimberlin yup literally everyone was hating verdansk back then and moved over to rebirth now the same stupid kids want Verdansk back.. yes caldera has (had) some problems but after the last big update the map flows pretty good. The problem is people are sick of regular br with everyone being so good.. on rebirth u can still easily win games and it’s way more fast paced and action heavy .. the big map feels slow and the fact that there’s no rebirth and u have to endlessly farm for cash to get ur team back just so get shot out of the sky by ttv is too frustrating for most people. Also a lot of the critics online haven’t even really played the map.. they just copy what KZbinr x says and spam it under every video.

Caldera isfun when you know the map and how it works, we drop bombs daily BUT obviously Verdansk is way better and always will be. I hope they explode the map on a fight with godzilla vs king Kong at the end of season 3 and bring back Verdansk

Yes but you have to be executed at a very specific time in the stim animation for it to work

yeah it's just when the character removes the red cap on it and about 1.4 seconds or something like that when the stim is fully used it works

Bro…do any of you guys play on Xbox one? Caldera is utterly and literally unplayable unless you don’t care about winning or getting any kills at all. Console players, especially Xbox players are at such a disadvantage. I know for a fact that if I had a pc and monitor I would have a 3KD EASY and dropping 30s and 40s regularly it is so hard out here for the people who don’t want to pay over $3,000 just to gain a competitive advantage
