This narration should be required listening for all children. The parallels between this and reality are stunning. Suicidal altruism spells the end for a people eventually. The saying “The road to hell is paved with good intentions” is pure wisdom.

I freaking knew it!!! It was very subtle, but about halfway through I caught onto it. Very awesome. Author is a genius. Same author that did 65 million years ago dinosaur story.

"He was no angel. Perhaps, he was a devil." Actually, if you followed the rules, that situation never would've happened. That being said, that was one hell of a story and something that piqued my imagination as I was creating these scenarios in my own head. I'm assuming that the reason the orbital bombing and other strange events occurred in his new world was because the people started seeing Miriam as a saint or someone who's a blessing or a prophet. But also by leaving his home, the others started to think he was a demon meant to trap them in his new world, so they started to rebel and have built ships that were out in space. Not only was that another point in time, but that also meant that in the "future" which was his present, the 'Yaus' or how their group name is spelled out, will be heading straight for his current world. I suppose the people he helped weren't exactly that comprehensive of their situation and were still religious-minded to the point anyone 'gifting' them with "blessings" makes them a prophet, savior, or antichrist, which then resulted in the massive conflict. Moral of the story: When you're given a blessing, don't turn it into a curse.

I wish I could read the words at the same time that you talk since English is not my first language. I stay like loading while I translate words and try hard to understand, but so excited to see this one. Before I go to sleep I listen one story his voice is so soothing even if the stories are creepy for going to bed😅

Peter: Eh, I dont think thats a good idea, Ive never been a good mediator.....like that time I Accidentally Turned The Syrian Civil War Into An Interstellar Conflict.

I havent really started listening Yet, but ive already pressed the like button because.. I know i will love it I love all of Scary JuJu's stories I havent yet heard a bad one Even a mediocre one,. Well i know he picks brilliant authors, but his delivery is just so good! I know hes said where he comes from but he has an accent which could sound Russian or Mexican or Latino, Romanian, Philipino, & with a few tweaks here & there could also sound Dutch.or German also Latvian, Scandinavian..in other words hes got the perfect accent/voice to take on ANY accent! I think Mr JuJu you should listen To a variety of diff accents & try to emulate them, with abit of practise you should have a few of them ready to add an extra dimention to your narrating skills. You have a great future ahead & you should work on different voices as it adds so much to a story. Some of the channels that have 500k or 1 or 2 million subs are good at accents, esp female ones men do such great jobs capturing the tone & attitude of women Its a great insight! Funny too. Anyway im just suggesting a.few ideas to incorporate into yr narrations, as i said with a minimum of tweaks you could sound as if you are from loads of different countries. As always thank you for this

Omg! I was freaked out when the shop door opened and I started hearing snarling sounds! I tapped the rewind thinking I'd missed something somewhere! Here "The walking Dead" ad had started playing. Lol 😂😹 And this ladies and gentlemen is the reason you must follow the rules. I was just thinking of the globe she saw, I wonder who's mistake that was? And was the globe the only "out of time" trinkets brought back from other times and places? Scary JUJU!! I've got too many questions! There's got to be a pt 2!

Oh! this story is brilliant! I hope there is a sequel, listening To this & visualising it in my mind i thought it would make a superb Film. People love films like this, where someone can move between worlds & time epochs And how something quite innocuous like a diary can take on Extraordinary consequences Ive often thought of our current civilisation & if in 1,000 or 2,000 yrs hence & they manage to bring back someone who'd been cryogenically frozen from our time now or by time travel somehow & This person finds out that due to a natural disaster there was almost mass extinction but survivors managed to start again & began scavenging for items from the past until a large time capsule was found & they discovered there had once been a great king, the greatest king ever known & he wrote wonderful words & they based their entire belief system around this great king... The re-awakened person/ time traveller is shocked beyond belief to discover The great king was none other than Elvis! In the time capsule they had found books & posters declaring Elvis is King & so had taken the meaning to be that this Being called Elvis was God The church priests were dressed in rhinestone white jumpsuits & had jet black hair with big front quiffs. The hymns were all Elvis songs or the words to songs since they couldnt play the records or cds as they didnt know what they were. so the discs were placed in the central main church up on the altar as sacred items... Blah blah, the list is endless & much fun could be exacted from this premise but it does show how something we take for granted may have a much higher significance a 1,000 years or more hence! I also think there would be very little left of our disposalist flimsy civilisation for future archeologists to find & the only things still standing would be stone items & they may think that WE built the pyramids & the Heads on Easter Island...! Its a fact though! Everything we have achieved is tech & our buildings are flimsy made of re bar & glass, all we have is disposable we just churn out disposable " everythings".& none of it will last even 100 years. The tech would disappear & no one would know how to retrieve info from a USB stick, they wouldn't know what it was. Its probably why the ancient builders of our past built in granite & hard stone because they already knew of even more remote civilisations where everything was lost because it was like ours, high tech & didnt last, the ancient builders used some of the last remnants of that tech to build in stone. Leaving us, now, puzzled as to how ancient things were accomplished. Dying to hear part 2, thank you so much Scary JuJu This was enthralling!
