We as the community need to band together and fund some 2v2 games, or even 3v3 with uThermal. I think thats the missing piece here to make it worth their time. =P In all seriousness though, I have been wanting them to do combined content for months now. They have a version of this for zergs too. Had a game couple days ago where terran basically gave up at the start of the game. As soon as it started he types "zerg is op and unfair", then proceeded to repeat "Serral, Reynor, Dark" over and over like it's my fault those guys are so good. Then, as a truly knowledgeable skilled player he one base BC rushed to see me prepared with spores and queens and just floats his buildings into a corner while typing "haha I wasted your time you stupid zerg noob!". I wish I could say this was my first encounter of terran like this, but it wasn't, nor it was the second one. Playing that race really does something to some people. It would appear people like this only want to play TvT all day.

@@sc2youtube744 Attracts.. or creates them? :D I know when I play Terran for too long I start getting irritated too and then put it on break. Now maybe it's just me but that race feels like a clunky piece of shit to play compared to other two races. And it seems those ubersalty terrans are of opinion that playing T is the only "honorable" way to do play SCII and everything else is for "idiot noobs" who cannot develop "real skill". I suspect these are people who would really rather play another race but instead keep bullshitting themselves.

Terran units are just better. Marines are insanely efficient, marauders beat almost everything marines cannot. Then you add stim and minimal micro and seem unstoppable. Tanks have insane dps and range, vikings range, liberators destroy entire ground armies, etc. Single transports can evaporate bases in seconds. The enemy has to micro or flank to stand a chance. Or, they can use aoe, which destroys marines, and roll up the rest. If it wasn't for aoe! Or the other race gets range, or casts spells, or does something else so obviously cheap because terran strong! When the base race is crazy OP, it feels unfair the other races have counters. And it is true; protoss and zerg have counters for every OP terran unit. And terran just has OP units.

Counterargument to those people saying that you should make more connons: I think that cannon turtling trivializes challenge-runs, in PvZ for examble mass Phoenix into HT cannon camping is nothing special. In my opinion the win only counts if the mana units actually win you the game instead of an enemy all inning into cannons and leaving.

Yea I think in general I want to refrain from literally camping behind cannons. That makes for unexciting games, however in the game we are talking about it would be just a good strategic option to create more defences that would likely at least increase the time of the game and maybe a win.

The terran tried going into mech, but I agree if the mech player will execute the strategy better I can be in trouble. I think it's important to acknowledge good/smart plays of your opponents. So many players (won't name names) just focus on " that's a stupid build order", "what the hell is he doing that's not optimal" etc. We all are just learning and playing the game.

Theoretically, Hallucinating even more Sentries would make it even harder for your opponent to figure out which unit shouldn't be there. On the other hand, is "40" sentries scary enough?

The first placement match seems so out of place now. Not sure if you can make it to GM or not but at least it seems possible now. I would suggest that you write your opponents after each episode explaining your challenge. On the other hand it's not your duty to make everyone happy. If people immediately insult you instead of asking politely, maybe they don't deserve an explanation.

One thing that's consistent is how many minerals you're floating. You might want to watch some of BeastyQT's sentries to GM series to see how the macro is optimized. You could pretty much quadruple expand, increase cannons, and take 8 more gases and then you can be inefficient with the sentries because you're warping in 15 at a time

With all respect to Beasty I am certain I can optimize my stuff better. With sentries only it's a little bit easier because you need to take into consideration only making sentries from gateways. I am trying to unleash the potential of 4 different types of units.

@@MaNaEsports I just went through like ten hours of beastyqt challenges to see. And he's always maximizing gas. Your micro is better, but even in his challenges like templar to GM (blink dts, HTs, archon, tempest, warp prisms) it's your typical gas heavy composition. He uses cannons and batteries to help defend and expands way faster than you, consistently having a much more balanced mineral gas bank than what I have seen from your games where you're always starved for gas. So many times watching your games, I am just shouting at the screen CANNONS since you have thousands in minerals and aren't expanding and then you die to a push while floating minerals since you're microing so hard. You can afford to inefficiently fight as long as the gas is there. I see a particular reluctance there, and in general with this unit comp, you're already playing at a disadvantage. The best way to approach it IMO is asymmetrically.
