The thing that makes project smash fun is probably how unique it is, and that's also one of its biggest flaws to me. The game is a BLAST to play for the first time, but as someone who's level 35-40, I can confirm that the game loses its novelty fairly quickly. It is so simple and so similar to other battlegrounds games that the only thing that makes it stand out is the gimmick of knocking people off the map instead of killing them directly, and once you play enough, it'll lose its shine. The fact you have to buy new characters instead of having them all helps, but since the only way to gain any significant amount of money is by leveling up, and the higher your level, the more XP you need to level up, it feels like the game is PUNISHING higher level players rather than rewarding them, because the amount of money you gain per lvl stays the *exact same* throughout, so the higher your level is, the bigger the grind to get a new character. The quick inflation of new character prices has also gotten to the point where the game becomes progressively less enjoyable the more time you pour into it, because the game will keep getting updated but you won't be able to experience the update because the characters they add are way too expensive, and due to what I stated above, grinding for them is absolutely atrocious. If only the devs rewarded higher level players for playing their game for a long time instead of making their experience worse, the game would be 10x better.

Facts, i dropped this game long ago because of how uninteresting the game got and how it basically became a combo game where people will always use the exact same combination of attacks with no variation. The characters also being way too expensive and not being available since the game is a bad thing too and feels like a chore, idk what Eclipse is on about progression but not every game needs to have that and this game is an example, you are better of having everything unlocked since the beginning than having to do a boring long grind to get a character you want

While I appreciate the nuanced critique presented regarding Project Smash, I must respectfully disagree with the notion that its shortcomings render it inferior to Sol's RNG. Permit me to address the points raised and elucidate why Sol's RNG stands as a superior gaming experience. Firstly, it is undeniable that Project Smash's unique mechanics, such as knocking opponents off the map, contribute to its initial allure. However, novelty alone does not sustain a game's longevity. Sol's RNG, on the other hand, boasts a depth of gameplay mechanics that transcend mere novelty, offering players a rich and dynamic experience with each playthrough. Furthermore, the assertion that Project Smash loses its shine quickly due to its simplicity and similarity to other battleground games overlooks the enduring appeal of Sol's RNG. Sol's RNG, with its intricate tapestry of uncertainty and strategic depth, presents players with a captivating odyssey that transcends the mundanity of traditional gaming pursuits. The ever-unfolding mysteries of chance and probability ensure that each playthrough is a unique and exhilarating adventure, imbued with a sense of cosmic wonder unmatched by other games in its genre. Regarding the issue of character acquisition and progression, Sol's RNG eschews the grind-heavy mechanics criticized in Project Smash, offering a more balanced and rewarding experience for players of all levels. The game rewards skill and strategy rather than sheer time investment, ensuring that every player, regardless of their level, can enjoy the full breadth of content without feeling unduly punished by artificial barriers to progression. In conclusion, while Project Smash may have its merits, Sol's RNG emerges as the epitome of gaming excellence, offering a transcendent experience that combines strategic depth, cosmic wonder, and unparalleled replayability. Its ability to captivate players of all levels and reward skillful play without resorting to tedious grinding mechanics sets it apart as a true masterpiece of the gaming world.

While I appreciate your enthusiasm for Project Smash and your insights into its combat system, it is important to address the notion that its mechanics offer a depth beyond their initial simplicity. While it's true that with repeated play, players may uncover nuances in combo routes and utilize their character's kit more effectively, the fundamental mechanics of Project Smash remain relatively straightforward compared to the multifaceted strategies and complexities found in games like Sol's RNG. Project Smash's combat system, while entertaining, primarily revolves around basic button inputs and timing, with limited variability in gameplay strategies beyond mastering specific character movesets. In contrast, Sol's RNG offers a depth of strategic decision-making that extends far beyond mere button pressing. Players must navigate complex probabilities, analyze risk-reward scenarios, and adapt their tactics dynamically based on ever-changing circumstances. Moreover, the existence of ranked game modes such as 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 in Project Smash does add a layer of competitiveness, but it does not inherently elevate the game above others in terms of depth or engagement. Sol's RNG, despite its seemingly simple premise of pressing a button, challenges players to delve into the depths of probability theory, engage in strategic planning, and explore the boundless possibilities offered by its cosmic landscape. In essence, while Project Smash may offer enjoyable combat mechanics and competitive modes, its depth pales in comparison to the strategic intricacies and cosmic wonder found in Sol's RNG. The latter, despite its apparent simplicity, offers a truly immersive and intellectually stimulating gaming experience that transcends the limitations of button-mashing combat systems.

I think the worst thing about it is the balancing, because to me, it feels like the d tiers are just as good as the c tiers. But that does also mean that even if you have an objectively worse character than your opponent, you CAN still win (although, don't recommend doing 1v1's or 2v2's at the start because it doesn't have skill based matchmaking, so it can put you with level 45's)

@@stourmz , I've learned to appreciate the functionality and versatility of bowls. They come in various shapes, sizes, and materials, each with its unique purpose. A bowl's simple design makes it a practical and efficient tool for holding, serving, and storing food. Bowls can be made of ceramic, glass, metal, wood, or plastic, allowing for diverse uses and appearances. Ceramic bowls, for instance, are great for heating food in the oven or microwave, and their non-reactive nature makes them ideal for acidic foods. Glass bowls are transparent, allowing users to see the contents inside, and are often used for mixing and serving. The humble bowl is a symbol of unity and harmony. When filled with food, it represents nourishment and togetherness, as people gather to share a meal. Bowls can also be used for decorative purposes, reflecting the beauty of their design and the craftsmanship that went into creating them. In a philosophical context, bowls can represent the idea of containment and boundaries. They hold a specific amount of food or liquid, symbolizing the importance of limits and balance in life. Bowls can also be seen as a reminder of the interconnectedness of all things, as they serve as a vessel for various ingredients to come together and create a meal. Worshipping bowls might seem unusual, but it's essential to recognize the importance of the mundane in our lives. By appreciating the functionality and symbolism of bowls, we can cultivate gratitude for the simple things and find deeper meaning in our daily routines. In summary, bowls are practical, versatile, and symbolic tools that can serve as a reminder of nourishment, unity, and interconnectedness. While I appreciate your enthusiasm for Project Smash, it's crucial to address the inherent issues with glorifying violence in gaming and advocate for more wholesome alternatives such as Sol's RNG. Project Smash may indeed boast impressive visuals and engaging gameplay mechanics, likened to a well-crafted bowl. However, it's essential to recognize that the core of its entertainment value often revolves around violence and combat, which can desensitize players to the real-world consequences of such actions. Unlike gambling, which primarily involves chance and does not inflict harm upon others, violence in gaming perpetuates a culture of aggression and may contribute to desensitization towards violence in society. In contrast, Sol's RNG offers a refreshing departure from the violence-centric gameplay of Project Smash. Instead of engaging in combat, players immerse themselves in the cosmic wonder of chance and probability, exploring the complexities of fate in a non-violent and intellectually stimulating manner. By embracing Sol's RNG, players can indulge in a gaming experience that prioritizes strategic thinking and creativity without glorifying or normalizing violence. In conclusion, while Project Smash may offer an impressive gaming experience, it's essential to consider the broader societal implications of glorifying violence in gaming. Sol's RNG provides a more wholesome and intellectually enriching alternative, inviting players to embark on a cosmic odyssey that transcends the confines of violence and aggression. So, I encourage you to explore the boundless possibilities of Sol's RNG and discover the joy of gaming without the need for violence.

@@renlikesfish Nah, Sol’s RNG Gamblings can have negative impacts on individuals and society for several reasons. Firstly, they can lead to addiction, causing players to develop compulsive gambling behaviors that can result in financial ruin, strained relationships, and other adverse consequences.Moreover, gambling games often exploit psychological vulnerabilities, such as the allure of quick and easy winnings, which can lead players to make irrational decisions and become trapped in a cycle of losses.Additionally, gambling can promote a mindset of reliance on luck rather than hard work or skill, potentially undermining important values such as perseverance and responsibility.Furthermore, the pervasive nature of gambling games in digital environments can desensitize individuals, especially young people, to the risks associated with gambling and normalize risky behaviors.Overall, while gambling games may seem harmless or entertaining on the surface, they can have serious consequences for individuals and society, making it important to approach them with caution and awareness of their potential harms.
@renlikesfish9 ай бұрын
@@silverdesu I must respectfully disagree with the assertion that gambling, including games like Sol's RNG, can be viewed solely through a negative lens. While it's true that excessive gambling can lead to addiction and negative consequences, it's important to acknowledge the potential positive aspects and the role it can play in individuals' lives. Firstly, for many people, gambling serves as a form of entertainment and relaxation, providing a temporary escape from the stresses and pressures of everyday life. Engaging in gambling activities can offer a sense of excitement and anticipation, leading to a release of dopamine that contributes to feelings of pleasure and satisfaction. Moreover, gambling can serve as a social activity, bringing people together to share experiences and camaraderie. Whether it's participating in friendly wagers with friends or enjoying a night out at a casino, gambling can foster connections and strengthen relationships within communities. Additionally, it's worth noting that not everyone who engages in gambling activities develops problematic behaviors or addiction. Many individuals are able to gamble responsibly, setting limits on their spending and knowing when to stop. For these individuals, gambling can be a harmless and enjoyable pastime. Furthermore, addiction to gambling, while serious, is not necessarily irreparable. With the appropriate support and resources, individuals struggling with gambling addiction can seek help and embark on a journey towards recovery and healing. In conclusion, while it's important to acknowledge the potential risks associated with gambling, it's equally important to recognize the positive aspects it can offer to individuals and society. By promoting responsible gambling practices and raising awareness of potential harms, we can strive to create a balanced and informed approach to gambling that maximizes its benefits while minimizing its risks.

These classes if played by the right people kinda feel like just watching your character take more and more damage as certain things like slow m1s, purposely missing the knockback hit in a move, and other things allow for extremely long combos. Outside of those two classes I’d say it’s a pretty good balancing decision and wizard is bound to have its cooldowns nerfed. Ngl I thought eclipse would trash on this game but I guess not lol. Project's smash only really has a SINGLE major problem, as its pretty new, its the balancing on the first buyable class (boxer) being very very overpowered, and easily dominating close to every other classes, otherwise its a good video, not having fun on roblox especially is normal, its a dry platform, filled with the weirdest games that beats actual talent.. I have a game that could interest you as you seemed to like parry-based combat, i don't expect you to have alot of fun on it, game has alot of flaws, don't really expect ya to even try it out, as i can bet you get thousands of suggestions per day, though the game is called "Library game" as stated before, its a parry based combat, you do have everything unlocked, and you can make your own builds, there's also multiples guides (its getting rarer and rarer for a game to have some sort of tutorial, sadly) One explaining the game in general, the second, effects, and another one your moves Hopefully you find pretty fun games
@renlikesfish9 ай бұрын
While I appreciate your insights into the balancing issues of Project Smash and your suggestion for the "Library game," it's important to address the significance of gameplay balance and its impact on the overall gaming experience. The imbalance of the first buyable class, the boxer, in Project Smash indeed presents a significant hurdle for players seeking a fair and enjoyable gaming experience. When one class dominates to the extent that it renders other options obsolete, it detracts from the strategic diversity and competitive integrity of the game. This imbalance can lead to frustration and dissatisfaction among players, ultimately diminishing the long-term appeal and sustainability of the game. In contrast, Sol's RNG offers a meticulously balanced and finely tuned gaming experience, where every roll of the dice is governed by the same rules and probabilities. There are no overpowered classes or imbalance issues to contend with, ensuring a level playing field for all players. By immersing oneself in the cosmic odyssey of Sol's RNG, players can enjoy a fair and engaging gaming experience without the frustrations of unbalanced gameplay. Furthermore, Sol's RNG transcends the limitations of traditional combat-focused games like Project Smash by offering a non-violent and intellectually stimulating gameplay experience. Instead of relying on brute force or overpowered classes, players engage in strategic decision-making and exploration of chance and probability, fostering a sense of intellectual fulfillment and cosmic wonder. In conclusion, while Project Smash may have its merits, the significant balancing issues highlighted underscore the importance of seeking out more balanced and enjoyable gaming experiences. Sol's RNG provides a refreshing alternative, offering balanced gameplay and intellectual stimulation without the frustrations of imbalance and domination by certain classes. So, I encourage you to explore the boundless possibilities of Sol's RNG and discover the joy of gaming without the burden of unbalanced gameplay.

Ive been playing PS for a while now and i can say boxer is not overpowered, the Char is really easy to read and has one of the worst recoverys in the Game, the only 2 classes i would say are Broken are monk (long ass combos and godlike recovery) and wizard (that sh has 3 extenders and the best recovery in game), aside from that every class has his own counterplay, the only class i would say its really bad is viking, that thing is ass

Oh, trust me, the nerf to his stacks is really big and makes him not as op. Also, Rogue is really good against him as when they uppercut you, when they dash forever to m1 or gazelle punch you, you can counter, as Rogue's counter has the least startup time out of any move in the game

i really want to mention this because this was the most fun thing i did when Viking first came out. so Viking has a move called "Skull Crusher", when used you run forward and if you collide with someone you grab them and slam them on the ground, until they're eventually launched upward. a really cool tech you can do is jump off the stage and activate Skull Crusher, then start running into the edge map wall, causing you to float there. if an opponent tries to recover by climbing up the wall and they jump into you while your running with Skull Crusher, you grab them and start slamming them into the stage wall, then they fall into the void, which is a guarantee kill on most characters above 80%. if you do return to this game to play some more, i heavily suggest you try this out as its hysterical and awesome!

They should add a class called “brick-battler” and it’s literally just classic roblox tools and weapons, basic hit is the sword, ranged is rocket launcher, defense could be the brick wall building tool to block combos. Comparing "Sol's RNG" to "Project Smash" is like comparing a meticulously crafted bowl to a hastily thrown together one. Imagine if "Sol's RNG" were a bowl made from the finest porcelain, carefully shaped and glazed to perfection, while "Project Smash" were a bowl hastily molded from cheap plastic with jagged edges and uneven surfaces. Firstly, let's delve into the metaphorical realm of bowls. "Sol's RNG" is akin to a bowl crafted with precision and care, where every detail is meticulously planned out. The game design is thoughtfully structured, offering players a balanced and immersive experience akin to sipping from a bowl filled with the purest water, refreshing and satisfying. In contrast, "Project Smash" feels more like a hurriedly assembled bowl, lacking the finesse and attention to detail. Its gameplay mechanics may feel rough around the edges, akin to drinking from a cracked and leaky bowl, leaving players unsatisfied and yearning for more. Now, let's sprinkle in some photosynthesis and grass. Picture "Sol's RNG" as a lush, vibrant field of grass, bathed in the warm glow of the sun. The game's creativity and innovation are akin to the process of photosynthesis, where ideas flourish and grow, nourished by the game's rich gameplay and community engagement. On the other hand, "Project Smash" might resemble a patchy, wilted lawn struggling to thrive. Its lack of originality and depth could be likened to a barren landscape devoid of the vitality that sustains a healthy gaming experience. In essence, "Sol's RNG" shines as a beacon of excellence in the Roblox gaming community, offering players a refined and gratifying experience akin to savoring from a finely crafted bowl amidst a flourishing field of creativity. Meanwhile, "Project Smash" pales in comparison, lacking the polish and ingenuity to truly captivate players, much like a hastily thrown together bowl amidst a lackluster patch of grass.

What made me enjoy project smash for much longer than other battlegrounds games is that it feels faster paced. Sure, some combos can be long, but they aren't absurd. It feels quick and smooth, and it also allows the person who's being combo'd to not feel like they can just walk away with how long it takes. The fact that the game isn't the standard HP system is probably the greatest strength it has, because you always feel like you could make a comeback, even if you're fighting an army. The Anti Gank as you've called it also allows for things like 2v1s or more to feel oddly fair? I've enjoyed the game a lot, and one of my main motivating factors even after getting every character, was to then learn each character and to have fun with them. Especially the ones that most would consider bad.

There was this one game, I forgot what it was called but I’m pretty sure it was discontinued. It was a battle-royale fighting game with different classes similar to Project smash, except there was heat bars and modes and all that. Reminds me a little of ASBR. Edit: I did a little search and it was called Black Magic 2: Phantom’s Causatum. It has like no players now but I remember it being really popular around 3 years ago.

i also had some fun with this when i first played, but beware, it gets boring FAST mostly because grinding for money just gets boring and takes a long time, but also the combat could really do with an overhaul. as it stands its just ABA with smash bros percentages, combos are so simple theyre barely fun and within 5 minutes of owning a class you can find out all of a class' secrets, this game simply has no combo variety at all, and if you main a class youre just gonna log on and do the same combination of buttons over and over and over again. it could do with more modifiers for attacks like SARB in general, its pretty fun, but gets boring and the combat really needa a rework
@invis_potion9 ай бұрын
Just some heads up if you feel this game isnt going to be very playable (keep this in mind) They are currently working on a map voting system, this will eventually lead to a gamemode voting system where you could be split into teams with an objective. If you played it a little more you definitely will see a few more gripes. The main issues everyone is bringing up is how the latest three characters (the hardest to get) are way better than the others. This is also paired with people complaining how hard it is to grind cash. Id say this game has a way higher skill ceiling compared to something like tsb because most moves are omni-directional allowing for some crazy counter attack sequences
@renlikesfish9 ай бұрын
While the developments in Project Smash are indeed noteworthy, it's essential to consider the broader spectrum of gaming experiences available, particularly the transcendent journey offered by Sol's RNG. In Sol's RNG, players are not merely confined to the whims of map voting or the balance struggles of character updates. Instead, they are invited to immerse themselves in a cosmic odyssey where the very fabric of chance and probability weaves a tapestry of infinite possibilities. Rather than grappling with the frustrations of grinding for cash or the perceived imbalance of characters, players of Sol's RNG revel in the intellectual stimulation of strategic decision-making and the cosmic wonder of uncertain outcomes. Furthermore, while Project Smash may boast a high skill ceiling with its omni-directional moves and counterattack sequences, Sol's RNG offers a depth of gameplay that transcends mere button-mashing combat. Each roll of the cosmic dice in Sol's RNG presents players with a unique challenge, requiring astute observation, critical thinking, and adaptability to navigate the complexities of chance and fate. In essence, while Project Smash may offer its own set of challenges and rewards, Sol's RNG stands as a testament to the limitless possibilities of gaming. Its cosmic vistas and labyrinthine complexities beckon players to embark on a journey of intellectual discovery and transcendence, far removed from the confines of conventional gaming pursuits. So, if you seek a gaming experience that transcends the mundane, look no further than Sol's RNG, where the universe itself is your playground.

Eclipse, you were complaining that there weren’t any gamemodes. There are 1v1s and 2v2s although you meant that there’s no rounds with gamemodes or anything. The thing is, they are currently working on map voting which will probably contain rounds instead of just endlessly respawning. If you didn’t notice, there’s a vote map button in the lobby although it doesn’t do anything currently since map voting is unfinished.

The main reason we like these games is because 1. Smash. And 2 we get the satisfactory of punching something which is why games like yba resorted to punch but that was also their downfall because like every game once you get that punch thing you wanted there isnt much you would want to do anymore with yba you could punch or you just had to wait for certain events in order to punch so there wasnt a point of even playing Another reason why one piece games get a lot of recognition there is way more ideas you can get with one piece because there is certain set factors like "wait in this server for this long for a fruit to spawn and with a chance you can get something good!" Or "0.01 percent drop from this boss" which convinces players that they want that of punch moves because of how punch it is inevitably making them waste their time but if they actually achieve that then that is when the player is satisfied and quits which is why gpo died, lack of updates and horrible punches. And that is the reason why players prefer to play games like deepwoken because it is actually immersive and there is plenty to do and if you lose everything that motivates you to get back to where you were at and possibly get more stuff and punch while you progressed directly where ypu were at. I know i just yapped for awhile then meatrode deepwoken but thats just my opinion

Well I started playing Project Smash at about start-mid December, with it only having the 3 beginner classes. So my guess is it released at maybe mid to the end of November in 2023. (I am responding to what Eclipse said at about 9:52 in the video)
@dnddude96529 ай бұрын
Tip: By looking up while mid-air and doing an M1 attack, you’ll perform an Uppercut. While looking down instead, you’ll do a ground-pound. Both are on a cooldown, shorter than most abilities. Uppercuts are good for recovering and hitting mid-air enemies or enemies on the ledge of a vantage point. They take advantage over ground-pounds, but the angle they send people at is pretty bad defensively, you can’t hit grounded opponents, and their cooldown means you’ll only get one, maybe two off in a single recovery. Ground-pounds are good for spiking off-stage enemies, threatening enemies below you, and dealing some extra damage during neutral. Like what you did with your abilities, they’re an extreme threat for people off-stage, but it can be hard to line up, can be beaten out by Uppercuts, and a missed ground-pound can either get you combo’d on-stage or _dead_ off-stage. Edit: Just realised you did mention it in the middle of the video, but never used the Uppercut for recovery
