Omg the flip flops - I remember friends of mine who would kick the flip flop off their foot, in front of them on the sidewalk, and then they'd walk to it and put it on for like....2 steps, and then rinse and repeat. No sir

Old navy flipflops were a core memory unlocked of mine as a kid, honestly 2000s fashion was wild lol 😂 also I woke up early for the first time in a long while and this was so fun to listen to 🌟

This is such a fun series - I can't believe it's been 22 already! I can NOT wear flip flops! When I was a kid, we had "school" clothes and "play" clothes. In summer, play clothes included flip flops (except we called them thongs) because we lived in a brand new subdivision with dirt hills and prickly weeds and bees, so barefoot wasn't really good choice. That thing between my toes just drives me bonkers, so even as a kid I took them off - left them where I could put them right back on when Mom saw me - and risked the bees. They may have actually been hornets?

I never realized how flip flops are staple to us Southern Californians, until I moved to Texas last year. Got looks as I wore them out in the rain. that and shorts lol guess you can take the girl out of CA but you can’t take the CA out of the girl lol

This is me. I’m from Hawaii and lived in Oregon 12 years. Through the heaviest snow I still wore my flip flops with sweats. I just can’t go without. Can’t take the island out of me. LOL

oh wow! I thought I was the only one with that opinion about Stardew graphics!! I also grew up in the 90's with pixel graphics and I enjoy that ACNH 3D today and please don't take it away from me! Thank you for voicing that out loud! Now I don't feel so dumb :)

It's coming along so cute! The colors you customized the items in are so cohesive! I definitely think you're onto something about the layering because all the builds and islands I've seen that were amazing had layering which gave it the oomph factor and pizzazz. I'm so jelly of your dragon hoard of inventory!! Oof. I’m born, raised and live in Hawaii. Flip flops are life here. May be in other parts of the country/world they’re not, but if you don’t own or wear them here you’ll probably get looks. However, I guess we feel the way you do about flip flops with those furry boots (uggs or otherwise). We’ll be looking at you like you’re crazy. LOL

If you ever do, you now know someone to be a tour guide! 😆 I’ve heard nice things about Boston but I can’t with the cold! 🥶 I am not bred for it. LOL Definitely visit Hawaii in the summer, though. It’s super rainy during the winter months. We have wet and dry seasons here. Summer you’ll get the full experience of the island/s!

1. This new Messiah sounds like a Mike Patton performance and I kinda want to hear it now. 2. The flip flop era had only one nice perk: you could get some fancy ones and I had a pair I loved. 3. In theory I garden. Reality will depend on outdoor conditions, and predictions are worse than last year. :( 4. Since my island is newer I am still trying to make money to cover all the stuff I want to do. Yesterday I did a big storage cleanout for monies.

I'm with you on the Flip Flops but I do think it's because we both live where we have 4 seasons... But apparantly we missed the Flip Flop craze, although we did get the Birkenstock craze... But I didn't mind those so much because at least people were wearing shoes that were good for you? I truly don't get how the judgemental part of my brain works. 😅 Don't get me started on wearing sweatpants to school or work though.😆 EDIT regarding Stardew, I hate pixel art videogames and just bought it because of FOMO. It took me two tries but then I got into it. It gives me the same calm feeling I have when I'm playing Animal Crossing. Still, the pixel art is a lot and I still have moments like; 'That doesn't look good...''. I think if the other things don't work very well for you, it's hard to get over the art. Which, totally valid.

I’m og harvest moon. re played the games loved them all. The art style of stardew has always put me off, I caved and bought it last week, I just couldn’t get into it the pixels gave me a headache and I don’t get headaches

Why do we who grew up with harvest moon have such a hard time accepting stardew valley? The struggle is real tho…
