Here's a copy and paste of an idea I put in a forum that might be a good challenge for you, Kipper.^^: Minecraft Deities is a vague idea I had in mind that may be interesting to do. Though it'd require a lot of work and research. Basically, a combination of lore from Game Theory, Minecraft Story Mode, Minecraft Legends, and Minecraft Dungeons all put into a fusion of lore while creating multiple deities based upon them. Through such, it'd create massive deity boss fights that are the result of fusing and enhancing fusions of lore connected entities together to form a deity pantheon. As Deities, they'd be impossible to kill in their initial state. But, they'd have multiple custom minion summons also inspired by aspects of what they're based on. Like, a Piglin deity could have one that's a gold golem, and another that is a massive mouth of living netherwart, and another of a skeletal amalgam of fallen piglin and other connected species, etc. And through specific interactions/defeats of minions, the deity becomes vulnerable. Dropping materials for crafting is one option, but others could be luring a minion to launch an attack in the deity's direction, or perhaps taming one minion. Maybe luring two minions into releasing AoE attacks that connect with the fellow minion, causing a feedback that weakens the deity. There's honestly many possibilities that would vary from deity to deity.
