@@phnxtv Yep, a creator called misode has tons of datapack generator tools online including custom biomes, dimensions, which include both generation rules for WHICH biomes appear in it (including custom ones in your own datapack), and world generation shapes like how high the mountains are or cave carvers. You can even set custom world height, so I made a world generation that combined the overworld with Aether-like sky islands about 700 blocks above the surface, and went as high as about y=2048, all without affecting the regular cave generation. It worked kinda well, but the unfortunate issue is that they blocked the skylight on the surface, meaning tons of mobs spawned down there. Do keep in mind that these tools are only for Java edition datapacks though, not Bedrock add-ons.

@@phnxtv cool lol. Just keep in mind you can't make custom blocks with datapacks yet, which includes portal blocks, so the only way to get to the new dimension is using commands. Using "/execute in [dimension_name_here] run tp ~ ~ ~" you can warp to it. You CAN use other datapack features to "simulate" portals though

Congratulations!!!! You have made more content than the minecraft live in only a week!! Also love very much the bosa and the ball, the mechanic of other player grabbing it is very funny. The only problem is that if the player can stack them or have too much of it its too op, so if you lower the damage to two hearts and make 1 per slot it would be hilarious :D

if it's not a desolate hellscape infested with skulk, wardens, deep dark biomes [or something equivalent], and new absolutely nasty/scary stuff, i'd be quite disappointed. everything about the deep dark and the ancient cities suggests true horror was unleashed there long ago. the portal was shut for a reason. the ancient cities being located so deep underground probably has a reason. why be rewarded for doing something you obviously shouldn't have done? whomever built the cities or lived in them most certainly perished. and those who walked through the portal may have never returned, or perhaps not as themselves.

They could've been trying to hide an escape something like the warden, abandoning the city and closing the portal. But ethier way they may be working on the dimension right now and the update is just something to keep us occupied

There's actually a clue as to how to activate the portal. It's been theorized that to activate it, you light the flames under the portal onto the soul sand. Obviously it doesn't work right now and it's quite disappointing. However, when activated, it makes a reverse glass breaking sound in slow motion combined with souls being sucked in creating the portal sound we hear in disc 5. So the glass pane part was actually on point. Another thing is that portals follow a common trend in Minecraft. By using an intense heat source combined with an almost, if not indestructible object (without glitches obviously), it creates a portal. You might think this doesn't relate with the end portal but if you actually look at the eyes of ender crafting recipe, you see that there's blaze powder mixed with it (heat coming from blaze powder is self explanatory). So how they activate the portal in the ancient city ties in with how other portals are activated. Pretty cool right? (Obviously, this information I didn't discover myself, shoutouts to Mat Pat and other Minecraft theorist out there!) Edit: I just realized that I spelt disc wrong so yeah, also since it's said WAY too much, NO thanks for the likes!!! (JK, thanks so much, this is seriously the most I have ever gotten)

fun fact. you can make a sculk dimension in survival. you mine the reinforced deepslate and replace it with obsidian. go to the nether and block off a cubic area for your dimension. go to the end and mine a tower. resurrect the dragon and mine the tower again. using your obsidian build a cube for your dimension. cover the walls with sculk veins. fill with the sculk of your choice. to make the sky get some blue/light blue stained glass and glow stone. place a layer of glowstone, light blue, blue, light blue... to your liking. and finally fix the ancient city/ mine out the roof or install Deeper and Darker. it is really good

actually try making a warden ribcage which would be a 30% chance you can use the ribcage to summon a sonicboom and to upgrade it you need to find the warden crystal(if you can add the upgrade) and a warden legs which would make you faster than speed potion and the ribcage would give you 4 warden hearts
