Movies like "Beyond the Mat" and shows like "Dark Side of the Ring" really capture how brutal life was for most wrestlers after their time in the spotlight had passed. Drug addiction, wrestling for pennies, etc. Nowadays, in this current era of wrestling, we have a lot of former wrestlers successfully establishing themselves on KZbin, starting well-respected and loved podcasts, finding success on Cameo... We can argue all day about what era of wrestling was/is the greatest, but I do want to say, I am incredibly happy that this current era is giving former wrestlers so many opportunities to keep making money and keep making content that their fans love. It's a great time to be a wrestling fan. I truly believe that. TESTIFY!

Love your channel D-Von. I admit I haven’t been into wrestling for a few decades but growing up and having the attitude era; as well as just before it with Bret Hart and just after it, were incredible to watch weekly. In middle school and high school you were a legend. The main thing I hope you see or someone who works on your channel sees in this is…I saw the “short” video you had hyping up the insane Rikishi fall from HIAC, and instantly began looking for the full video it came from. When you open up the KZbin app on mobile, it instantly plays a “short” video. Because of this, I really think to build your channel even faster and bigger then it will eventually become…always try to put out “short” videos even if the video shows the biggest bump or climax of a moment from the full video. With these wrestling moments, everyone my age (30-42 range I’m guessing) wants to know more about all of the insider info and commentary from you and your guest regarding that bump. So you’re not actually giving away a scene they want to see in the full video by releasing the short video, but enticing them to actually watch the full video it came from. Thank you for all of the moments D. I hope you have a lot of success with this channel and are able to add your own creativity and insight we all love in them. 🤘🏼💯🤘🏼

I remember watching WrestleMania 25 LIVE and I seriously thought that I had witnessed a man break his neck. I was on my feet with concern for the Undertaker and was relieved to see that he was alright. I still own the PPV DVD set and when rewatching it, I still flinch.

Nothing but respect for wrestlers especially The Undertaker who threw his body around for our entertainment.
