I think we’re cut from the same cloth. My family doesn’t use that word. I never heard that uttered in my house. I am quick to tell other black people that I don’t use that word when I hear it. Hey- I’ve been around the world and stood “IN “ a dungeon in west Africa in the doorway of no return. I felt all the despair and sorrow. The energy was so thick. Oh yes- I’m all about inclusivity but I have NEVER forgotten who I’m dealing with! Granny your right! You did the right thing too. I would have let him have it in that office as soon as he said that… you know- it’s funny how people speak to women… if you were a man this would have been handled more delicately . You are so right. People do talk to women a certain way. Every where I have ever worked the customer wouldn't get what he wanted from so they would say, I want to talk to your supervisor. They knew they mostly were men. Then my boss would cave and give them what they wanted. It used to make me mad because if I had given them what they wanted I would have been called on the carpet for not following the rules. So glad I don't work anymore for this reason.

I too am upset about the use of the 3 words said! I too am 73, but white (very white!). When I was a child, I would spend hours in the Arizona sun just to turn red. All the kids were red. So I thought that would end the name calling, it didn't. You see, that was not my only problem. I was and still am slow and very neve (thank God for spell check). So, name calling and wispers have been with me for my whole life. I truly appreciated my father and his help in understanding. He sat me down with a globe 🌎 and would spin it and I would stop it somewhere and He would explain the differences between the people that lived there. The people in China were different because of----, people of Africa were different because of---, etc. In my time, I have broken up 3 (that I recall), of name calling and all 3 we're in parking lots. Different ones in different states. I just jump in and tell them that they don't look Native American (when they yell "go back from where you came from " I point out, that if they don't know where that is, have DNA test and leave. That usually shots them up. I only had one big white male get in my face, I didn't back down. These people are so afraid of something. They might think you are smarter, wiser, work harder, might take your job? Who knows! I sure as h--- don't. I'm not sure. So sorry for this 🤪 crazy craziness still going on. My husband loosed his right leg because of the Vietnam War and decided he hated all Vietnamese because of it. I just flat out told him to hate what happened, but why all the people? They were fighting for their country, not you. Anyway, please don't put us whites in the same group. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOURS

The worker will probably loose his job that really didn't value him anyway. This story is what happens everyday with us doing business in America. HalleluYah! We belong to TMH. And our Eloheim forewarned us about this behavior from the other nations. Deut. 28:37. And thou shalt become an astonishment, a proverb, and a byword, among all nations whither the LORD shall lead thee. TMH also.revealed the outcome on this matter as well. This should be motivation for the ones trying to return to His laws, statutes and commandments. Their words and actions will have to be accounted for or recompensed.

Thank you granny, I appreciate the talk you had with us and I understand you're getting so emotional about what had happened and what was said that it causes an emotional instinct. So don't apologize because we feel the same way. And I really hate that something like that happened to you and you had to hear that and like you said if your husband was living and you told him what had happened I'm quite sure things would have been handled real differently. You know Granny it was meant for you to hear that and hear how that guy really felt about you he didn't care whether the job was finished, done right nor quality work. He just wanted the green and once he got that it was like whatever whatever. God miss you to hear that so you can put him in his place about that word because if he said to like you said the wrong person he would have got a beat down so I'm glad you did go back up there to confront him and maybe he'll chill out on his next customer that is of color. Thanks granny

Dearerst Granny! Are you on TikTok? There are a lot of content creators who actually PROTECT you when they are mistreated in this manner! They would go after this company just because of how they handled you. So Disrespectful!! If they did this to you and you are a Senior and a respectable citizen and woman. Get you a TikTok platform. He is making excuses for that employee because he is scared what this situation will do for his bottom line. Guess what, he hasn't just did it to you but also to many others as well. He's a wolf in sheep clothing. He meant what he said.Sorry you had to experience this. What is done in the dark that is vile always come to light!

I'm 70, and I will stand with you, as a continuation of our legacy - STRONG, unintimidated, women of African descent, yet - compassionate for the human race. Still, don't get it twisted. Blessings to you and your daughter.

I Wish You could call them out. And I DOO Understand why You keep them Anomous. I Do. I just experianced a $1,500 Switch & Bait from a Lawn Care Company here in PHX. And I want to tell People about it, but I need to Review my options 1st. People think they Will Never Have to Answer to ANY Wrong Doings.
