My mother had one of those exercisers in the 70's . She was on the floor in the lounge , topless working out when there was a knock on the door. I was only little and let the male visitor in without warning. Mum made a leap of terror to behind the couch.

I enjoy watching you shop. Because of you, I can get it out of my system. I was going to Goodwill's and many thrift stores but not being a reseller it was silly of me. Now I shop for what I want in Antique stores but know what I am buying thanks to you. Love the Crazy Lamp Lady for the knowledge you share!

I think the plate with the butterflies on it that Daphnie was holding with her thumb in the slot is actually for a stemmed wine glass to sit in, so you can have a hand free to eat the nummies. My guess anyway. :)

Your Stamps Happen woman is a part of the dolly mama's by joey, inc. The were also available for sale as cards. The same is true for House Mouse now licensed by Stampabilities. I bought my first House Mouse cards in the Oglebay Parak Shop in Wheeling, WV and then found them as stamps. The artist is Jareckie. They are very popular. I have several dolly mama and a ton of House Mouse stamps. Just a note from your friendly neighborhood botanist (who did her PhD research in your neck of the woods) and art stamper.

I'm so glad you still shop in Goodwill and other thrifts stores and not just malls. I think it is much more exciting to find the treasure in the "wild" where everyone knows they will find good but more expensive stuff in antique malls. And, most of us cannot make any profit in our local booths off of things we might find in malls. The variety of shopping you locations that you offer (including hoarder houses, too) is just great!

I was in my local thrift shop last week and they had father Christmas at the top of the tree spode plates two of them for £3 each I told the volunteer that they were worth much more than that and she said she knew but no one round here would pay it. I was tempted to buy them just to flip, I did resist the urge I hope that they went to someone who really wanted them or someone who made a packet on them.
