I still can't believe that this badass fighting game rounds are really just chess-like matches but with fighting moves instead of pieces

Amazing how long this video felt. So much YOMI Hustle content in such a short amount of time due to the speed of it all. Nice comeback, it's nice to see even the king pin Ninja loses now and again.

It was really fascinating to watch you play the worlds most optimal ninja to take out Tsu in the rematches. Good stuff, the KP was hype tho

as someone who very interested in learning ninja an watching your videos to absorb knowledge I have to say if you occasionally uploaded a few full matches with commentary while you decided moves that could inadvertently been amazing tutorials. I tend to try to find the high level players an listen to the decisions they make an reasoning they do things in real time to improve my own gameplay. (not tutorials just raw gameplay from high level players while they commentate) I know YOMI matches are long but it would just been like uploading a VOD an would give people a deeper inside look into your though process an decision making rather than them trying to figure out why you did certain things at certain times. I guess if you don't want people to attempt to adapt to your playstyle its not a good idea but for all of us wanting to learn from you it would be invaluable info. Regardless I love the videos you currently make an I hope you would give some thought into uploading some longer gameplay in the future. You got my subscription

Also maybe I haven't looked hard enough but I cant find anyone currently uploading raw YOMI footage regularly its all the after match videos of everything happening once its done with little to no explanations. So it might be an untapped area to get into

Awesome comeback. Curious though, what's with the hook strat? Are you building momentum? Haven't used Ninja a lot so I've been confused about this.
@eluxdrio
@eluxdrio Жыл бұрын
When exactly? In combos just makes it easier to actually hit high damage moves like jump kick. In neutral either more momentum if the hook is in front of me or dealing with stuff like magnetize when the hook is behind me

you're insane! simply dominant, i did have a question though, how long do you think it would take someone like leo or spargo to beat you at your own game if they start playing? i see it as a big fish small pond situation rn, but feel free to show me what you think! ps: amazing video, always love your stuff man

imo, top smash players can jump to top 1% of yomi players in pretty much a couple of weeks or so, but I don't think that means they would instantly dethrone elu. Yomi actually takes away a lot of the tools top players use in traditional fighting games. Playing yomi at the highest level is fundamentally different. Of course, they could still get there quickly, but imo they wouldn't leave elu in the dust, just give him some competition

quick question: how good do you think the other top players in this game are. It seems that i have similar observations about this community to you

Probably dumb question, but I've been playing the beta version of the game to try it out and I've been digging it, but the game seems very bare bone (no tutorials and some lack of polish) I know in the steam version the game is in a more balanced state but im not sure how long this game will receive updates and whatnot and since im mostly interested in playing with friends im not sure the investment is worth it. I've read in a past video that you weren't very happy with the state of the game so that also worries me. Do you think this game is worth a buy or do you think it wont have the longevity to make it worth it?
@eluxdrio
@eluxdrio Жыл бұрын
if you're not extremely competitive and wanna play with friends it's 100% worth it. Even if you are extremely competitive it will probably take you at least around 200 hours before you will start noticing the problems

bro with all due respect, the game is $5 and you're commenting on a popular video of a major tournament, asking if "the longevity is worth it"? bro it's the sickest game i've ever played and it's $5 what
@simo-hp7pw
@simo-hp7pw Жыл бұрын
@@Shadowserpant00 well ya you can say its only 5 bucks but if my interest was only to play with friends i do have the beta version which is free, and seeing that elucard said in a previous video he was getting tired of the game i thought it wouldnt hurt to try and ask for a more informed opinion before trying to convince my friends to buy the game with me. Also just because a game has a pro scene or something like that doesnt mean it has longevity ya know, just look at overwatch, it has a pro scene but its dying very very quickly.

@@simo-hp7pw elu must have an insane numebr of hours in the game, it'd make sense for him to burn out. As far as longevity you can see in the community and the dev's responsiveness to it that this game is going to go far. The mods are insane and the dev literally talks to the players in discord. There is a ranked mod and a whole community around making balanced mod characters. So yeah the value is just nuts, I pretty much just play with my friends as well
