This is an age old scam. I had heard about this from some or other people from 1996 onwards. Was invited for something very very similar in 2012/13. But I was well prepared. I went with my wife, collected their gifts, gave them a piece of my mind and came back. They would have got a lesson of their life !! But clear they wouldn't care. There are many a fish in the pond !! But nice that you chose to spoke about it as you are having a huge following on KZbin and hence a far better reach. Thanks for putting out this video 👍

I got a similar call already but we were so busy that we didn't go.. They get our data from recently purchased items.. In our case they took reference that since you've bought a new car we're giving you an offer and we are tied up with so and so company.. Exactly how you described. The only good thing is that we never went. They called at-least 2-3 times in the interval of 3-4 months. This is not a new scam, in previous years, they would even gift you a small item like a dinner set or a bed sheet to oblige you. As a good citizen and with your wife with you who's always wanting to go out for vacation, you'll then fall into their obligation/trick. Good to highlight it since I never knew the other part of the story on what happens when someone actually attends their meeting.. Now I know! :-)

Sad part is once you purchase those shitty things from then they give you nothing or they take you to some location only once they ask you to click thousands of pictures, yes thousands of pictures and post it on social media. Then they say if you want to redeem other vouchers you'll have to bring in some other people in the circle, after paying 1 or 2 lakh rupees people get so crazy that they die dupe even their best friends their family and even their extended family. I've seen worse and had given these scamsters a ride of their life. They used to call me to various location I used to visit these places and enjoy the pleasantries and when the time came 🙏🙏🙏 .I enjoy these scamsters don't pay shit. please people they will drag you down to the depths of insanity.

Same happened to me.. They were selling some package to me there . I went with my partner. And they were asking me which car do u drive to check my status. Then the start there sales when they understand if he can afford or not. I said I don't wanna buy. The said you can gift this to somebody.
