I just read an article about a man who is a native in Canada. This native tribe is supposedly the only place this ancient Polynesian DNA is still seen in any living person. See, the "Americas" were invaded or were trading with people from Northern Scandinavia and Polynesia way before Columbus landed. Archeologists have proven the Vikings lived in Canada and the Polynesian DNA makes a statement. But the working theory is that the first people came across the ice bridge from Russia to Alaska and then came south over a long period of time. New Archeological finds suggest at least one family came over with a white mother because they found remains of some children that were buried. So if any of these theories are true 100% native people still came from Africa then Asia then across the bridge to the Americas it would be at that point that people would develop some variants that DNA experts see as Native to the Americas.

Your statement is wrong. This girl comes from a certain region in Southern Mexico where most of the ancient civilizations still exist because they were isolated, not entirely, but enough to maintain their language which is the core of their civilizations. Most Mexicans don't have that, in fact, they often discriminate the natives because they don't speak Spanish or because of how they dress. The Urban Mexicans in Central and North Mexico are a mixed of Mexica and Spanish cultures, even in their language, Spanish is also Mixed with Nahuatl, so even the Mexicans in the north inherited the Nahuatl and Spanish culture even though they are too apart from themselves; the Spanish in Europe and the Mexicas in Central Mexico. I do speak a native language too, and we don't actually see the Mexicans as our relatives, in fact, we call them "Foreigners" because we identify them with the language they speak, we call them "Spanish People". I think that some people often forget that this whole genetics stuff is a recent phenomenon and most of relationships between humans are based on their experiences.

If you do the tree it can help connect to DNA matches with the Thru lines and you can see how people connect to your family. If you can get your older generations tested, their DNA will show some matches to people that yours may not. I did this with my grandma. I didn't know to do it for that reason. I did my grandma who was 91 at the time because I was trying to find her moms family. With the paper research and DNA I have been able to find her family. We knew nothing of my grandmas moms side because she died in the 1920s when my grandma was about 2 or 3.
