Love this kind of music. Perfect hit of mellowed out sadness. Hits the perfect sense of hollow sorrow.

This album is really sweet, right up my alley. Reminds me of the bands I listened to in highschool and honestly, some of my favorites from now like The Front Bottoms. My favorite song was Scully, It's me. I always enjoy when musicians include spoken interludes/segments in music! Sometimes KZbin Reccomended delivers. Thanks for sharing. I'll make sure to check out your other albums.

i'm no musician or anything, so grain of salt and all that but the first track sounded to me almost like a cover or reworking of something i couldn't put my finger on i think it might be a dirtface daredevils song back to oregon or maybe something else will drop a link in the replies, YT prob won't show it but you might find it in the comments filter

ok.. I'm in the second track and I dig it will subscribe you prob know a lot of the groups etc that I hear influences from in your music so far, but perhaps not the one I will mention in a moment but the arrangement of this second track is making me wish you had access to a double bass for it if you ever rework this track get some double bass and musical saw on it check out the sodastream tracks 'Keith and Tina', and 'Let It All Turn Black' for why I'm saying this lol sorry for the ranting, but I'm quite enjoying this

So glad you're enjoying it! I haven't heard of those actually but I'll check em out

@@TheAtomicHuman lol yeah, i didn't wanna dump a list of names on ye, but always worth turning people onto sodastream, and like I said, there's glimmers of genius in the arrangement of that second piece, to my amateur ears... those hints of the bass vibrating through were rich and deep and shit, man take care, will have a listen to the others on bandcamp sometime :)

@@LORDOFGLOOP That means a lot man, I'm still very much a beginner and trying to get better. Most of my influences come from folk punk, even if I don't emulate the genre very much it's where a lot of my inspiration comes from. Artists like Michael and Patrick Schneeweis, AJJ, Mischief Brew, Curdle Motif, and others are what got me started doing this. Feel free to dump that list, I love checking out artists I haven't heard before. Keep it real man

this shit heat, i added it on spotify aswell as listen to it multiple times here. btw what was your favorite godzilla film. i really like old films and ive never really dived into godzilla, where you do recommend i start? Cant wait to here what ur gonna release next.

My favorite of the older Godzilla movies would probably be Ghidora, the Three Headed Monster, it's just a classic. I also like Godzilla vs. Hedorah, it's pretty weird and trippy but also shockingly dark. If you want to do a real deep dive into the series I would say just start with the original and go from there. There are definitely some movies from that era you could skip, I deeply regret watching Son of Godzilla. If you're interested in newer stuff you should also check out Godzilla Minus One, it came out last year and was really fuckin good. Ok that's my rant, sorry I just really like talking about Godzilla. Anyways, thanks for the support man, I'm glad you liked it. Now go and watch Godzilla already!

@@TheAtomicHuman ironically geedorah is my favorite DOOM albumn. Also NOT ENOUGH rant, what movies should i skip other then son of. Watching ghidora RIGHT NOW
@TheAtomicHuman8 ай бұрын
@p1ngu236 you're kidding! It's my favorite MF DOOM album too, madvillainy is a close second. The only other movie I can think of to skip is probably All Monsters Attack, it had a really low budget and was made to be a kids movie, its not bad just very different from the rest of the series. Hope you like ghidora :)
@p1ngu2368 ай бұрын
@@TheAtomicHuman currently 15 minutes in and its been pretty great so far, personally id say mm food > madvillany but i absolutely love DOOM. Every single album is a master piece (born like this is debatable but still atleast a 7/10) i would go as far to say that anyone song, skipping to any part of the song (intro/outro not included) your ears are blessed with Dumile's wonderful writing skills, along with his (pun intended) out of this world producing skills. Also the entire fucking narrative that he had going for his whole career with MFDOOM, geedorah, and vic von, is fucking crazy. what wonderful mind that we lost far far far to soon. okokok going back to ghidorah
