I'm glad there's a vampire story where the vampires have the weaknesses they're supposed to.

He just has the perfect crisp British accent; I love it. Usually, the narrators I listen to, though they have nice voices too, Dr. Creepen just has just that nice relaxing tone to his voice that you can't find in other narrators. I'm not the type of person to sleep to scary stories, but this guy somehow manages to help me sleep. He's a very good narrator and I'm definitely gonna start listening to his podcast now

I used to listen to your videos to help me relax as a teen. Recently my insomnia has gotten terrible so I’ve been looking for something to help me relax before bed, and I suddenly remembered your videos. It’s nice to see you still at this, your voice is soothing and your reading is smooth as always. I’ve tried listening to others but no one else can keep my attention like this, your voice over work is one of a kind.

Better than average vampire tale. It reminds me a little of Stephen King's "Salem's Lot". Vampires should be truly evil and depraved and deserve a fearless vampire hunter. They shouldn't attend High School and go to the Prom (aka "Twilight"). The entertainment value is raised to the next level, as always, by your superb reading. As penance for giving me a sleepless night, say 10 "Our Father's" and 10 "Hail Mary's". Thanks for making this available.👍👍👍🧛🧛🧛🦇🦇🦇

It took me long enough to get around to this one but was well worth the wait. Naturally the Doctor narrates with his customary perfection but as a Dracula and Salem's Lot fan I especially enjoyed the mixing and matching of character names from both books and used in this story. I kept listening for a mention of Renfield but maybe he was such a central Dracula character the writer kept him on the sidelines unless he snuck past me somewhere. This story was a great tribute to both books and I hope I get to hear a lot more from this writer.

As always my good doctor, you were superb! You delivered this story so creepily, that I actually had goosebumps 😱😱.. I myself have only one question. It seems like the author of this story may have been a Stephen King fan. This story is eerily like Salems Lot. It’s so close to Salems Lot that if I didn’t know better, the author seems to have borrowed a great deal from that book…just saying..much love to you good doctor. As always 👏

If there’s one thing I like if no more reason than it’s different is that the vampires aren’t incredibly fast and agile as they’re normally portrayed. As it definitely makes for an excellent chance of survival. So, Sarah had to invite him in as is legend, yet he was able to enter the very same house into the kitchen? I wish they’d stuck to the invitation only rule. It’s a better way to follow the actual mythology. Ahh, now his hierarchy of them makes sense. So some do have the power and speed, and some are less, and some have virtually nothing. With the exception of immortality. But as a low ranking vampire, with virtually nothing exceptional, plus a constant bloodlust, I’d prefer not to be immortal. But that’s just me.

@@marywiegand2050 Google Ferndale, CA. It's a beautiful little town. We had an apartment in the Gingerbread Mansion. The house was built by a doctor and he had his office and a small hospital in the back. The apartments used to be the hospital. Yes I totally creeped myself out there! There's a church and cemetery on a hill overlooking the town that made me think of Hammer horror movies. It was a perfect setting for Salem's Lot. Of course this was 40 years ago but I don't think the area has changed very much except for the closure of the small navy base my husband was stationed at.
