I had the privilege of attending a Co-op meeting and Baxter was the speaker. My wife thought I was losing it because on the way home I couldn't stop laughing. Rest in peace Baxter, you are truly missed. Especially by those of us with a country sense of humor!

You brought the best out of the West, made easy for folks to see, the work and joy of the old cowboy for folks who wished to be. But riding the range was just too strange for those who live in a computer. But late at night, if we dream just right, we don our boots and six shooter. It's hard to speak, when your knees go weak, and crazy sorrow attacks. So I'll just say, in this simple way, "Adios Baxter Black."
